المستخلص: We aim through this paper: to make a diagnosis of the supply of care in Algeria, by emphasizing the causes which freeze the main mission of the care structures, and by underlining the consequences of this situation on the three parts which make up the Algerian health system. In the end, we will prescribe solutions that can improve the situation of the supply of care at this time. We arrived at several results, among them: a great disparity between the regions going from north to south in terms of health coverage; a flagrant lack of operational medical equipment and a shortage of medicines for hospital use; almost non-existent cooperation between the public and private sector; obsolete legislation that frames a sick hospital.

Notre objectif à travers ce papier: faire un diagnostique de l’offre de soins en Algérie, en mettant l’accent sur les causes qui figent la mission principale des structures de soins et, en soulignant les conséquences de cette situation sur les trois parties qui composent le système de santé algérien. Enfin, nous allons prescrire des solutions qui peuvent améliorer la situation de l’offre de soins en ce moment. Nous sommes arrivés à plusieurs résultats, parmi eux: une grande disparité entre les régions en allant du nord vers le sud quant à la couverture sanitaire ; un manque flagrant d’équipements médicaux opérationnels et, une insuffisance des médicaments à usage hospitalier ; une coopération quasi-absente entre le secteur public et privé ; une législation caduc qui encadre un hôpital malade.
