المستخلص: يدور موضوع البحث حول إشكالية البحث الرئيسية حول تقديم دراسة نقدية لشبهات المستشرقين حول منهج شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية في المسائل العقدية وأهمها شبهاتهم على تقديم الشرع على العقل، وهو ما سوف نركز عليه في تلك الدراسة. المنهج المتبع: الاعتماد على المنهج التاريخي، كما تطلب البحث أحيانًا استخدام المنهج النقدي والتحليلي، وكذلك المنهج الوصفي الذي يقوم على وصف الظواهر واستقرائها. أهداف البحث: تعمل الدراسة على تقديم دراسة نقدية موضوعية لكشف شبهات المستشرقين حول منهج شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية في المسائل العقدية. خطة الدراسة: قسمت الخطة إلى تمهيد، ومبحث، ثم الخاتمة واستخلاص النتائج. يتناول التمهيد. وخصصت المبحث الأساس: لدراسة: شبهات المستشرقين حول منهج شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية في المسائل العقدية وأهمها شبهاتهم على تقديم الشرع على العقل. وأخيراً خاتمة الدراسة والنتائج التي توصلت إليها.

The topic of the research revolves around the main research problem about presenting a critical study of the orientalists’ suspicions about the approach of Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah in doctrinal issues, the most important of which is their suspicions of putting Sharia above reason, which is what we will focus on in that study. Approach Relying on the historical method and the research sometimes required the use of the critical and analytical method, as well as the descriptive method that is based on describing and extrapolating phenomena. Research aims: The study presents an objective critical study to expose the suspicions of orientalists about the approach of Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah in doctrinal issues. Study plan: The plan was divided into an introduction, a topic, and then the results and recommendations of the study. Proven sources and references. The main topic was devoted to study: the suspicions of orientalists about the approach of Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah in the doctrinal issues, the most important of which is their suspicions regarding the prioritization of Sharia over reason. Finally, the conclusion of the study and the results it reached, and concluded the research with appendices and proven sources and references that will help me in completing the study.
