المستخلص: هدف البحث الحالي نقد تدني مستوى الخط والإملاء لدى الطلبة وتزويد الجهات التربوية العليا برؤية ضمن فلسفة التربية للحد من التوسع الحاصل بتدني هذين المستويين لدى الطلبة، كما تحدد البحث بضعف الخط والإملاء لدى الطلبة كحدود موضوعية. اتخذ الباحث من التأويل والإرشاد منهجاً لبحثه وهذا المنهج معنياً بتفسير الظواهر، والمشكلات والعناصر والإجراءات وتأويلها وفق منهج واحد، بهدف إرشاد العمل التربوي وتوجيه واقتراح الوسائل الأكثر جدوى وفائدة. ولقد خرج الباحث بتوصيات منها: 1- أن تهتم المؤسسات التربوية بهذا الموضوع واعتباره محورا مهما في العملية التربوية، فضلا عن عدم تساهل المدارس والجامعات بموضوع ضعف الخط والإملاء. 2- كما اقترح الباحث إرجاع كراسة الخط والإملاء للطلبة على المستويين التربية والتعليم العالي، فضلا عن فتح دورات خط وإملاء إجبارية للكادر التعليمي ولعامة الطلبة أيضا.

This paper aims to critique the low level of calligraphy and misspelling among students and to provide the higher educational authorities with a vision within the philosophy of education to reduce the increase in the decline of these levels among students. Additionally, the scope of the paper is limited to weakness in calligraphy and misspelling among students as objective limits. Furthermore, the researcher took interpretation and guidance as an approach in his study. This approach is concerned with the interpretation of phenomena, problems, elements and procedures and their interpretation according to one approach, with the aim of guiding the educational work and directing and proposing the most feasible and useful means. The researcher came up with a number of recommendations; most significant among which are: - Educational institutions should pay more attention to this issue and consider it a vital axis in the educational process, as well as the intolerance of schools and universities on the subject of poor calligraphy and misspelling. - The researcher also suggested going back to the use of the calligraphy and dictation booklet by students at the levels of schools and higher education, as well as establishing compulsory calligraphy and dictation courses for the teaching staff and all students.
