هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مفهوم الوعي المعلوماتي، الكشف عن الوعي المعلوماتي لدى أعضاء هيئة التدريس بكليات القطاع التربوي من خلال استخدامهم لمصادر المعلومات، التعرف على المشاكل والصعوبات التي تواجه أعضاء هيئة التدريس بكليات القطاع التربوي في استخدام مصادر المعلومات. اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي بشقيه (المسح ودراسة الحالة)، وتم استخدام الاستبانة لجمع البيانات المتعلقة بالجانب التطبيقي من الدراسة وتم تحليلها باستخدام برنامج الحزم الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS). تكون مجتمع الدراسة من (195) عضو هيئة تدريس بكليات القطاع التربوي جامعة الجزيرة (كلية التربية حنتوب، كلية التربية الحصاحيصا) وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (168) عضوًا من هيئة التدريس تم اختيارهم عن طريق العينة المسحية من مجتمع الدراسة. توصلت الدراسة لعدد من النتائج أهمها: وعي أعضاء هيئة التدريس معلوماتيًا أسهم في تطوير بيئة العمل بكليات القطاع التربوي، لخدمات المعلومات التي تقدمها المكتبة دور كبير في نشر الوعي المعلوماتي بين أعضاء هيئة التدريس، وجود عدد من المشكلات حالت دون استفادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس من خدمات المكتبة تمثلت في: حاجز اللغة، تردي البيئة الإلكترونية بالمكتبة، ضعف إلمام أعضاء هيئة التدريس بطرق تنظيم المكتبة. توصي الدراسة بالاهتمام بتطوير بيئة العمل بكليات القطاع التربوي، ترقية خدمات المعلومات التي تقدمها المكتبة لأعضاء هيئة التدريس، العمل على حل المشكلات التي تحول دون استفادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس من خدمات المكتبة.
The study aimed to identify the concept of informational awareness, and reveal it among faculty members in the faculties of the educational sector through their use of information sources. And also to identify the problems and difficulties that face faculty members in the faculties of the educational sector in the use of information sources. The study followed the descriptive analytical approach with its two parts (survey and case study), a questionnaire was used to collect data related to the applied aspect of the study which analyzed by the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The study population consisted of (195) faculty members in the faculties of the educational sector, University of Gezira (College of Education Hantoub, Faculty of Education Hasahisa) and the study sample consisted of (168) faculty members who were chosen by the survey sample from the study community. The study found that the awareness of the faculty members about information has contributed to the development of the work environment in the faculties of the educational sector, the information services provided by the library also play a major role in spreading information awareness among faculty members. There are a number of problems that prevented faculty members from benefiting from the library services, such as: the language barrier, the deterioration of the electronic environment in the library, weak knowledge of the faculty members in the ways of organizing the library. The study recommends paying attention to developing the work environment in the faculties of the educational sector, the necessity of upgrading the information services provided by the library to faculty members, and work on solving problems that prevent faculty members from benefiting from library services.
