المستخلص: يعنى البحث باختبار القول بقياسية إبدال السين صاداً إذا جاء بعدها الخاء أو الطاء أو الغين أو القاف الذي تبناه بعض اللغويين، وذلك باتباع المنهج الاستقرائي، وجمع كل الألفاظ -من لسان العرب- التي تتعاقب فيها السين والصاد سواء أكانت في فاء الكلمة أو عينها، مع التوافق في الحرفين الآخرين، ويكون أحدهما: أحد الحروف المذكورة: الخاء أو الطاء أو الغين أو القاف، ثم النظر في معانيها، وتقسيمها على مبحثين، في الأول: جمعت ما اتحد معناه، وفي الثاني: ما اختلف معناه، وبعد جمع الألفاظ وتتبع معانيها.

The research is concerned with testing the saying of measuring substitution of letter س with letter صif these letters خ or ط or غ or ق come after it. Which is the saying that adopted by some linguists, so, the research will collect all the words-from Lisan Alarab, in which the س and صare alternated. Whether in the beginning or in the middle of the word with no difference in the other two letters, and one of them is one of the letters That mentioned before خ or ط or غ or ق, in the first we collected the words that have the same meaning, and in the second we collected the words that have different meaning. After collecting the words, the research concluded: the collected words reached Fifty seven, the vast majority of it was in the substitution, as follows: Substitution of س with ص in the beginning of the word occurred in 23 cases, Substitution of ص with س in the beginning of the word occurred in 14 cases. Substitution of س withص in the middle of the word occurred in 6 cases, Substitution ofص with س in the middle of the word occurred in 2 cases, So the total of the substitution cases is forty-five. The difference in meaning occurred in twelve cases. Substitution of س with ص if it comes after it one of these letters خ or ط or غ or ق it happened frequently but we cannot take it as a standard as there is no substitution in some cases despite the presence of the mentioned letters, also there is Substitution of ص with س if it comes one of these letters خ or ط or غ or ق after the letter ص.
