المستخلص: موضوع البحث: يعنى هذا البحث بكشف منهج ابن كثير في دفع التعارض عن الروايات الواردة عن ابن عباس في التفسير. أهداف البحث: يهدف هذا البحث إلى إبراز جهود ومنهج ابن كثير في دفع التعارض عن الروايات الواردة عن ابن عباس في التفسير. منهج البحث: قسمت الروايات المتعارضة عن ابن عباس على ثلاثة مباحث: الأول: وفيه الروايات التي سلك فيها ابن كثير منهج الجمع، والثاني: وفيه الروايات التي سلك فيها منهج الترجيح، والثالث: وفيه الروايات التي سلك فيها منهج التوقف، وجعلت تحت كل مبحث عدة مطالب، صنفتها حسب الروايات المندرجة تحتها، وأوردت في كل مطلب ثلاثة أمثلة من الروايات المتعارضة. أهم النتائج: يعد ابن كثير من أبرز المفسرين الذين اهتموا بمعالجة التعارض بين الروايات الواردة عن ابن عباس في التفسير، وقد عمل الباحث على كشف المناهج التي اتخذها ابن كثير في دفع التعارض عن هذه الروايات، وإبرازها للمهتمين بالدراسات القرآنية، وقد بلغ مجموع الآيات التي نقل عن ابن عباس فيها روايات متعارضة -والتي تم جمعها من تفسير ابن كثير -(129) آية. التوصيات: يوصي الباحث بمزيد من الدراسات التي تكشف مناهج المفسرين في التعامل مع الروايات المتعارضة عن الصحابة في التفسير.

Title of the Research: The approach of Al-Hafiz Ibn Kathir to resolving the discrepancy in Ibn Abbas' narrations in the interpretation. Summary of the Research: Subject of the Research: This study aims to reveal Ibn Kathir's methodology to resolving the discrepancy in the narrations provided by Ibn Abbas in the interpretation. Objects of the Research: This research aims to highlight the efforts and method of Ibn Kathir to resolving the discrepancies in the narrations reported by Ibn Abbas in the interpretation. Methodology of the Research: I divided the discrepant narrations on the authority of Ibn Abbas into three topics: the first: it contains the narrations in which Ibn Kathir followed the method of collecting, and the second: which includes the narrations in which he followed the approach of weighting, and the third: which includes the narrations in which he followed the approach of stopping, and I placed under each topic several chapters, I classified it by the novels under it, three examples of discrepant narrations were given in each chapter. The Most Important Conclusions and Recommendations: Ibn Kathir is regarded as one of the most interpreters who addressed the issue of discrepancy between Ibn Abbas' narrations in interpretation, And I worked on revealing the approaches taken by Ibn Kathir in repelling the contradictions from these narrations, and highlighting them for those interested in Quranic studies. The total number of verses that were quoted from Ibn Abbas in which conflicting narrations- which were collected from the interpretation of Ibn Kathir- reached 129 verses. The Most Important Recommendations: The researcher recommends more studies that reveal the methods of the interpreters in dealing with the discrepant narrations of the Companions in interpretation.
