المستخلص: يهدف البحث الحالي إلى الكشف عن أساليب أو أنماط التفكير الدافعي السائدة لدى الطلبة المتفوقين عقليا بالمرحلة الثانوية في ضوء نظرية العقل الدافعي، بالإضافة إلى بحث الفروق بين الجنسين من المتفوقين عقليا في أساليب التفكير الدافعي السائدة. وقد استخدم المنهج الوصفي لارتباطه لطبيعة البحث وأهدافه. واشتملت عينة البحث على (٨٥) طالبا وطالبة من المتفوقين عقليا (٤٦ طالبة، ٣٩ طالبا) بالصف الثاني الثانوي بمدرسة المتفوقين للعلوم والتكنولوجيا “Stem” بمحافظة بني سويف، وقد طبق عليهم قائمة بأساليب أو أنماط التفكير الدافعي (إعداد/ الباحثة) بعد التحقق من ثباتها وصدقها بالطرق الإحصائية المناسبة حيث قد تم استخدام عدة أساليب إحصائية للتأكد من ثبات وصدق أداة البحث والتحقق من فروضه وهي: معامل ألفا لــ كرونباخ، معامل الارتباط لبيرسون، التحليل العاملي التوكيدي، المتوسط الحسابي، الانحراف المعياري، تحليل التباين ذي القياسات المتكررة، اختبار (ت) للعينتين المستقلتين. وقد أظهرت نتائج البحث أن أسلوب التفكير المنظم- البارد قد احتل المرتبة الأولى بين أساليب التفكير الدافعي الثلاثة بمتوسط يساوي (3.93 من 5)، يليه أسلوب التفكير الفوضوي-الساخن بمتوسط يساوي (3.88)، أما المرتبة الثالثة والأخيرة فكانت أسلوب التفكير التكيفي- المتدفق بمتوسط يساوي (3.86) وجميع هذه المتوسطات تقع في مدى الاستجابة بدرجة كبيرة، مما يشير إلى أن الطلبة المتفوقين عقليا يستخدمون أساليب التفكير الدافعي الثلاثة بدرجة كبيرة، بالإضافة إلى عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات درجات أساليب التفكير الدافعي الثلاثة لدى عينة البحث، الأمر الذى يشير إلى عدم وجود فروق في درجة استخدام الأساليب الثلاثة للتفكير الدافعي لدى عينة البحث من الطلبة المتفوقين عقليا. كما أوضحت نتائج البحث وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين الذكور والإناث من الطلبة المتفوقين عقليا في أساليب التفكير الدافعي الثلاثة السائدة (التفكير المنظم- البارد- التفكير الفوضوي- الساخن- التفكير التكيفي- المتدفق) وذلك لصالح متوسط درجات الإناث في الحالات الثلاث. وفي ضوء نتائج البحث تم تقديم العديد من التوصيات والبحوث المقترحة.

The aim of the current research is to reveal the prevailing motivated thinking styles or patterns among the mentally talented students in the secondary stage in the light of the motivated mind theory, in addition to examining the gender differences among the mentally talented students in the prevailing motivated thinking styles. The descriptive approach was used in connection with the nature and objectives of the research. The research sample included (85) mentally talented students (46 female students, 39 male students) in the second year of secondary school at the mentally talented School for Science and Technology “Stem” in Beni-Suef Governorate. A list of Motivated thinking styles was applied to them (prepared by the researcher) after verifying its stability and validity by appropriate statistical methods. Several statistical methods were used to ensure the stability and validity of the research tool and to verify its hypotheses, namely Alpha-Cronbach, Pearson correlation, Confirmatory factor analysis, Mean, Standard deviation, Repeated-measures analysis of variance, and T-test for two independent samples. The research results found that the cold-ordered thinking style ranked first among the three motivated thinking styles with an average of (3.93 of 5), followed by the hot-chaotic thinking style with an average of (3.88), and the third and final rank was the fluid-adaptive thinking style with an average of (3.86) and all of these averages placed in the response range of a large degree that indicates that the research sample of the mentally talented students use the three motivated thinking styles to a large extent. In addition to the absence of statistically significant differences between the average degrees of the three motivated thinking styles of the research sample, which indicates that there are no differences in the degree of using the three styles of motivated thinking among the research sample of mentally talented students. The research results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences between mentally talented males and females in the three prevailing motivated thinking styles (cold-ordered – hot-chaotic – fluid-adaptive) in favor of the average scores of females in the three cases. In light of the results of the research, many recommendations and proposed researches were presented.
