المستخلص: The number, in journalistic discourse, is first used as a necessary element to illustrate reported statements. It is a reliable and objective tool for identifying data exposed to readers by the print media. This article looks at the different forms that the number of articles in the headlines of the newspaper "Le Quotidien d'Oran" can take and tries to understand the typographical choice of the editorial staff. For this, a detour towards the notion of "norm" is more than necessary to better understand the alternation of the two forms that the numeral can take in writing.

Le nombre, dans le discours journalistique, est tout d'abord utilisé comme un élément nécessaire pour illustrer des propos rapportés. Il constitue un outil fiable et objectif pour recenser des données exposées aux lecteurs par la presse écrite. Il s'agit, dans cet article, de voir les différentes formes que peut prendre le nombre dans les titres des articles du journal "Le Quotidien d'Oran" et essayer de comprendre le choix typographique de la rédaction. Pour cela, un détour vers la notion de "norme" est plus que nécessaire pour mieux cerner l'alternance des deux formes que le numéral peut prendre à l'écrit.
