| 520 | |b The Lingua Franca is a language of consensus and understanding of a place where one can speak with the other without having another language in common. Its history was built in a context of extreme geopolitical struggle, Muslims. After living in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, the Frankish language disappeared, however, a language always leaves traces. Our objective through this article is to make know the language that Cervantes, during his captivity in Algiers, used to communicate with his cellmates and with his Turkish masters. For this, we propose to define it, to position it geographically and to describe its use.. |d Lo que entendemos hoy por “lingua franca” es una lengua de consenso y de entendimiento, de un lugar donde uno puede hablar con otro sin tener ninguna otra lengua en común. Su historia se hizo en un contexto de tensión geopolítica extrema, el de la guerra del Corso en el Mediterráneo, entre cristianos y musulmanes. Después de haber existido durante los siglos XVI, XVII y XVIII, la lengua franca murió; sin embargo una lengua siempre deja huellas no sólo lexicales sin también morfológicas. Nuestro objetivo a través de este artículo es dar a conocer a esta lengua que Cervantes, durante su cautiverio en Argel, utilizó para comunicar con sus compañeros de celda y con sus amos turcos. Para esto, nos proponemos definirla, ubicarla, describir su uso en general, y en particular, detectarla en los escritos del novelista prisionero en la capital de la Regencia. | ||
