All writing is the result of fiction, even if its starting point isn't always from a pure imagination. This article is interested, precisely, in the process of fictionalization in a literary text which is based on a fragment of History, thus directing the reader to an event that really took place. Through a narratological approach and by referring, in particular, to the various works of Gérard Genette, the narrative structures and techniques adopted in the novel will be highlighted in order to better understand this passage from the real world to fictitious universe. Toute écriture est le fruit d’une fiction même si le point de départ de cette dernière n’est pas toujours issu d’une pure imagination. Cet article s’intéresse, justement, au processus de fictionnalisation dans un texte littéraire qui se base sur un fragment de l’Histoire, renvoyant ainsi le lecteur à un évènement qui s’est réellement produit. Par le biais d’une approche narratologiqueet en se référant, particulièrement, aux différents travaux de Gérard Genette, les structures narratives et les techniques adoptées dans le roman seront mises en évidence afin de mieux comprendre ce passage du monde réel à l’univers fictif. |
