|a المشهدي هو محمد بن محمد رضا إسماعيل بن جمال الدين القمي، وسمي بذلك نسبة لمكان مولده ومسكنه، ولا يعلـم له تاريخ مولد أما وفاته ففيها روايتان، الأولى: في منتصف القرن الحادي عشر، والثانية: أنه توفي بعد سنة (1107 ه). قسم البحث على قسمين رئيسـين هما: (ماهية الفعل، وأقسام الفعل) فالفعل ما دل على حدث وزمن ويفيد التجدد والحدوث، وتقسم الأفعـال إلى: مجردة، ومزيـدة، فالمجرد ما كانت كل حروفه أصلية، والمزيد ما زيد عن الأصل حرف أو أكثر من حروف (سألتمونيها) وسنبين ذلك وفقا لما ذكره العلماء مع ما ذكره المشهدي بحسب قراءته للأفعـال في الآيـات القرآنيـة الكريمة المجردة منها والمزيدة ومعرفة معانيها فضلا عن بيان موقفه من موافقته لهم أو مخالفته معهم في الدلالة والقراءة. تظهر أهمية البحث من خلال عرضه لاختلاف معاني الأفعال نتيجة لتغـيير يطرأ على صيغها بزيادة أو نقصان مما يضيف للدلالة جوانب مختلفة ومتنوعة.
