المستخلص: أظهرت العلوم الإنسانية الطابع الكوني للخيال، وسلطت الضوء على وظائفه النفسية والاجتماعية. أحلام اليقظة، والخيال، والأساطير الاجتماعية، والحكاية واليوتوبيا، كلها جزء من الخيال وتستخدم أحيانا لعمل مشاريع أو تحل محل المرجع الثقافي للمجتمع؛ أو حتى المساهمة أحيانا في ترسيخ المجتمع أو تغييره. كل صورة لها قطبان: قطب بيولوجي وأنثروبولوجي تماما وقطب متجسد في ثقافة ولغة وحضارة. سيكون الخيال هو المسار الأنثروبولوجي الذي يحدث من خلاله ذهابا وإيابا بين هذين القطبين. يوصف الخيال بأنه متحف لجميع الصور، سواء كانت سابقة أو ممكنة أو منتجة أو سيتم إنتاجها. هذه هي الطريقة التي تستحضر بها مراكش صورة الفخامة القديمة والمعاصرة. مراكش مدينة ذات ماض إمبراطوري، ومناخ متميز، وتاريخ حافل، وهوية غنية، ومراكش هي الوجهة المرموقة حيث يضرب أصحاب المجتمع المخملي موعدا للحفلات والمهرجانات الفاخرة. وهكذا تجد صورة الرفاهية هذه جذورها في الماضي والحاضر لهذه المدينة ذات الإرث الحضاري الإمبراطوري، هذه الصورة تعبير عن خيال حيث يختلط الحلم والخيال والحكاية والأساطير، إنها أيضا صورة مكان خيالي يتم استحضاره باللجوء إلى الأدب أو الفن.

The human sciences have shown the universal character of the imaginary, they have highlighted its psychological and social functions. Daydreams, fictions, social mythologies, utopias, all are part of the imagination and are sometimes used to make projects or take the place of cultural referent to a community; or sometimes even contribute to cementing society or making it change. A city with an imperial past, an exceptional climate, a remarkable history, a city that has multiple identity ingredients. Marrakech is the prestigious destination where the jet set meets for parties and festivals. This image of luxury thus finds its roots in the past and in the present of this imperial city. It is the expression of an imaginary where fiction, reverie and myth mingle. It's an imaginary Orient. It is also an imaginary place that is evoked by having recourse to literature or art.

Les sciences humaines ont montré le caractère universel de l'imaginaire, elles ont mis en évidence ses fonctions psychologiques et sociales. Les rêveries, les fictions, les mythologies sociales, les utopies, toutes font partie de l'imaginaire et servent parfois à faire des projets ou tiennent lieu de référent culturel à une collectivité; ou parfois même contribuent à cimenter la société ou à la faire changer. Toute image a deux pôles: un pôle strictement biologique et anthropologique et un pôle incarné dans une culture, une langue, une civilisation. L’imaginaire serait le trajet anthropologique par lequel le va et vient entre ces deux pôles s'effectue. L’imaginaire est décrit comme le "musée 11 de toutes les images, qu'elles soient passées, possibles, produites ou à produire. C’est ainsi que Marrakech évoque une image de luxe d’époque et d’actualité. Une ville au passé impérial, au climat exceptionnel, à l’histoire remarquable, une ville qui dispose d’ingrédients identitaires multiples. Marrakech est la destination prestigieuse où la jet set se donne rendez-vous pour les fêtes et les festivals. Cette image de luxe trouve ainsi son ancrage dans le passé et dans le présent de cette ville impériale. Elle est l’expression d’un imaginaire où se mêlent fiction, rêverie et mythe. C’est aussi un lieu imaginaire qu’on évoque en ayant recours à la littérature ou à l'art.
