المستخلص: الحمار حيوان يرجع وجوده إلى الأزمنة الأسطورية. وهو يجسد، عند البشر، الخمول والعناد والصبر. ورغم ذلك، فقد استغله الإنسان منذ أقدم العصور من أجل تنقلاته وحمل أغراضه؛ والأهم من ذلك أنه تم استغلاله في نشر الأفكار وآراء الأنسان لأسباب عدة: -فقد نقل فكر الثقافة الإغريقية في "الحمار الذهبي" للقمان السمسطائي، ثم الفكر الروماني والمتوسطي في "الحمار الذهبي" لأبوليوس؛ ومثل ذلك بالنسبة إلى الفكر الأوروبي الحديث (الثورة على النظام الكنسي، والثورة الاجتماعية، والثورة الفلسفية والثقافية، إلخ).- تنوعت صورة الحمار، باعتبارها صورة ثقافية، فقد غذى الثقافات والآداب بأفكار وصور تعكس الفكر الإنساني خلال تطوره. وعلى الرغم من التغيرات التي عرفتها صورة الحمار بين الثقافات والآداب، فإنه يبقى درعا طيعا للإنسان، وأفضل ناطق ساخر باسمه.

The donkey is an animal whose existence dates back to mythical times. He embodies, -for human beings- laziness, stubbornness and patience. Despite this, man has exploited it since the dawn of time for his travel and transport needs; the most important thing is that it was exploited in the dissemination of ideas and human opinions for several reasons: - it thus transported the spirit of Greek culture in the "golden donkey" of Lucian of Samozat, then Roman and Mediterranean thought in Apuleius' "Golden Ass"; It is the same for modern European thought (the anti-clerical revolution, social revolution, philosophical and cultural revolution, etc.). He has nourished cultures and literatures with ideas and images reflecting the human spirit in its evolution. The Donkey -cultural image-, varies according to the cultures. Despite the avatars that the donkey has known between cultures and literatures, it remains a docile screen for man, and his best sarcastic spokesperson.

L'âne est un animal dont l’existence remonte aux temps mythiques. Il incarne, -pour les êtres humains- la paresse, l'entêtement et la patience. Malgré cela, l'homme l'a exploité depuis la nuit des temps pour ses besoins de déplacements et le transport; le plus important c’est qu’il a été exploitée dans la diffusion des idées et des opinions humaines pour plusieurs raisons: - il a ainsi, transporté l’esprit de la culture grecque dans « l'âne d'or » de Lucien de Samozat, puis la pensée romaine et méditerranéenne dans « l'âne d'or » d’ Apulée; Il en est de même pour la pensée européenne moderne (la révolution anti-cléricale, révolution sociale, révolution philosophique et culturelle, etc.). Il a alimenté le cultures et le littératures par des idées et des image reflétant l’esprit humain dans son évolution. L’Ane -image culturelle-, varie au gré des cultures. Malgré les avatars qu’a connu l’âne entre les cultures et les littératures, il reste un paravent docile pour l'homme, et son meilleur porte-parole sarcastique.
