المستخلص: The objective of this study is to empirically assess the impact of growth rates (%GDP), exchange rates and inflation on the attractiveness of foreign direct investment in Algeria during the period 1994-2020. Thereby, the application of the ARDL model is necessary to detect the existence of a cointegration relationship that the growth rate has positively and significantly impacted the attractiveness of between the variables. Moreover, the economic results showed FDI in Algeria. However, this remains insufficient due to their belonging to the hydrocarbon sector. For the other exogenous variables (the exchange rate and inflation) have negatively impacted the attractiveness of these investments.

L’objectif de cette étude est d’évaluer de manière empirique l’impact des taux de croissance (%PIB), taux de change ainsi que l’inflation sur l’attractivité des investissements directs étrangers en Algérie durant la période 1994-2020. De ce fait, l’application du modèle ARDL est nécessaire pour détecter l’existence d’une relation de cointégration entre les variables. Les résultats empiriques obtenus montrent l’existence d’une relation de long terme et court terme entre les variables. Par ailleurs, les résultats économiques ont montré que le taux de croissance a impacté positivement et de manière significative l’attractivité des IDE en Algérie. Cependant, ceci reste insuffisant du fait de leur appartenance au secteur des hydrocarbures. Pour les autres variables exogènes (le taux de change et l’inflation) ont négativement impacté l’attractivité de ces investissements.
