المستخلص: The southwestern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a distinct topographical diversity, which has had a clear impact on the characteristics of the climatic elements in a way that would not have been the case under the orbital astronomical position, which has had a significant impact on the variation of thermal comfort levels. Have a clear impact on the life and human activities of the region. Many definitions have been formulated to describe the concept of thermal comfort. One of the most well known definitions is the definition given by Fanger 1970 as thermal comfort is "a state or feeling of satisfaction in a person's thermal environment. Estimating the state of the buildings and what they provide from what can be defined as "thermal efficiency" to a friendly internal environment" The study concluded that the region was divided into a number of different climatic ranges in terms of thermal comfort levels, based on the application of a number of internationally accepted statistical equations and coefficients. For example, Thomthwaite's heat efficiency index and the effective temperature matrix formulated by Gaffiny As well as the equation given by Siple & Passle to estimate the impact of air and wind temperature on human comfort, in addition to the recent modifications and measurements introduced by the American Association of Air Conditioning and Cooling Engineers, known as ASHRAE. The study concluded with a review of the main practical effects of the map of differences in thermal comfort ranges in the study area represented by tourism activity in the region.
