المستخلص: يزخر تاريخ العراق الحديث والمعاصر بالعديد من الأمثلة التي تعكس سمو الالتزام الديني وروح التضحية التي غرسها ديننا الحنيف في الوقوف بوجه الظلم منذ بدء الرسالة المحمدية مرورا بمسيرة الأئمة الأطهار (صلوات الله عليهم أجمعين)، وفي هذه المقالة سنلقي الضوء على حياة الشهيد جمال جعفر محمد علي آل إبراهيم ودوره الجهادي في العراق. سيرة الحاج جمال أبو مهدي المهندس تشهد على زهده بالدنيا منذ بداية حياته، فقد سلك سبيل الجهاد في بداية شبابه، وهو الشاب الجامعي الذي تلوح أمام ناظره فرصة الحياة لا سيما في ذلك الزمان، فكانت شهادته في الهندسة تفتح آفاق المستقبل سواء داخل العراق أو خارجه، ولكنه رفض هذه الفرصة التي كانت تمثل في عينيه الدنيا وهي فاتحة له ذراعيها وتناديه لينشغل بها ويعرض عن الآخرة بأعلى درجاتها، وهي درجات المجاهدين، فبصره الله تعالى بها وما ذلك إلا دليل على توفيقه الناتج عن إخلاصه لله تعالى، فاختار سبيل الجهاد معرضا عن الدنيا، مخاطبا إياها غري غيري، فقد بصرني الله تعالى دائك ودوائك، فعيشك قصير وخطرك يسير، وما نقص منك زاد في الآخرة، وما زاد منك نقص في الآخرة فكم من منقوص رابح ومزيد خاسر. يعد جمال جعفر محمد علي آل إبراهيم المُكنَّى بأبو مهدي المهندس واحد من أبرز الشخصيات النضالية في مسيرة حزب الدعوة الإسلامية العراقي، إذ وقف هذا القائد مع أخوته في العقيدة الدينية الإسلامية المحمدية أمام الغطرسة الأمريكية إبان الغزو الأمريكي للعراق عام 2003، واختتم هذا الرجل المجاهد مسيرته الإنسانية والدينية بالاستشهاد غيلة وغدرا من قبل العدو الأمريكي البغيض وهو يرافق نجم مجاهد لامع آخر هو الشهيد قاسم سليماني واغتيالهما في مطار بغداد.

The modern and contemporary history of Iraq is replete with many examples that reflect the highness of religious commitment and the spirit of sacrifice instilled by our true religion in standing up to injustice since the beginning of the Muhammadiyah message through the path of the pure imams (may God’s prayers be upon them all), and in this article we will shed light on the life of the martyr Jamal Jaafar Muhammad Ali Al Ibrahim and his jihadist role in Iraq. The biography of Hajj Jamal Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis testifies to his asceticism in the world since the beginning of his life, as he took the path of jihad at the beginning of his youth. He's a college student with the chance of a life, especially at that time. His degree in engineering opened up prospects for the future, inside and outside Iraq. But he refused this opportunity, which represented the world in his eyes, and she opened her arms to him and called him to be preoccupied with it and to stay away from the Hereafter at its highest levels, which are the degrees of the Mujahideen. So God Almighty gave him insight into that, and this is nothing but evidence of his success as a result of his devotion to God Almighty. So he chose the path of jihad away from the love of the world, and told her: He seduced others. God Almighty has shown me your illness and medicine, your life is short and your danger is easy, and what you lack increases in the hereafter, and what increases you decrease in the hereafter. Jamal Jaafar Muhammad Ali al-Ibrahim, nicknamed Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, is one of the most prominent militant figures in the Iraqi Islamic Dawa Party. This leader stood with his brothers in the Muhammadan Islamic faith in the face of American arrogance during the American invasion of Iraq in 2003. This mujahid man concluded his humanitarian and religious journey by martyrdom, treacherously, by the hateful American enemy, and he accompanied another brilliant Mujahid star, the martyr Qassem Soleimani, and their assassination at Baghdad airport.
