الجمال قيمة حضارية في غاية الأهمية للإنسان والحياة، وبقدر تسامي الإحساس بالجمال لدى الإنسان والوعي بأبعاده الحسية والمعنوية، وتفاعله معه، تسمو روحه، وتتهذب أخلاقه، ويرتقي في سلوكه. ولأهمية قيمة الجمال في الحياة الإنسانية، وحاجة الإنسان الفطرية للاستمتاع به فقد كانت محل تقدير لدى سائر الأمم والحضارت. ويهدف هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن المعايير الجمالية في الإسلام، والمقارنة بينها وبين المعايير الجمالية لدى الفلاسفة والمفكرين الغربيين، وإبراز ما بين النظرتين من التمايز والاختلاف، وآثار كل من النظرتين على الإنسان والحياة. وقد جاء هذا البحث في ثلاثة مباحث: الأول: وتضمن التعريف بالجمال وأنه صفات في الأشياء، أو سمات يتذوقها الإنسان فيها، فتبعث في النفس البهجة والسرور. وأن معيار الجمال هو الميزان الذي يكشف عما تتمتع به الأشياء من جمال أو عدمه. والثاني: وكان عن معايير الجمال في النظرة الإسلامية وبيان أنها الشرع، والعرف، والذوق الفردي، وتجلية ما تثمره من تهذيب ذوق الإنسان الجمالي والارتقاء به، وصيانه عن صور الضلال والغواية والابتذال. الثالث: وجاء فيه بيان معايير الجمال في النظرة الغربية هما الذوق والمنفعة، وبيان أنهما سبيل للاستمتاع بالجمال، والتفنن في إنتاجه، إلا أن الاكتفاء بهما ينأى بقيمة الجمال عن أن تكون وسيلة لتهذيب السلوك، والارتقاء بمشاعر الإنسان وأحاسيسه، وذلك لما في الطبيعة الإنسانية من الميل إلى الشهوات، والحرص على الاستمتاع بالجمال بعيداً عن ضوابط الفضيلة والأخلاق.
The beauty is considered as an important cultural value for human life. Sublimation sense of beauty in humans transcends spirit, refines manners and improve humans` behavior. Due to the importance of the beauty value in human life, and the basic need to enjoy it, the beauty has been appreciated in all nations and cultures. The aim of this research is to reveal beauty standards in Islam, and compare these standards with philosophers and western thinkers, and highlight the differences between the two views, and show the effect of eachview in human and life. This research contains three axes:First axis containsthe definition of beauty, and how beauty is a character of things, and how attributes of beauty can be tasted byhuman, which can give the energy and the happiness. It also tells about standard of beauty is the balance, which reveals the beauty of or lack thereof. The second axis shows the beauty standards in Islamic view, which include the beauty asShara, custom, and individual sense. It also shows how beauty reflectsindividual personality and refinement. This axis tells how the beauty keep human away from seduction, wrongdoing andplatitude. Thirdaxis describe two standards of the beauty in Western view, which isdecorum and benefits. It describes how these standards is a methodof beauty enjoymentand sophistication of beauty`s production. This axis also discuses that these two standards is not enough, which distance the value of beauty to be anapproachof improving human`s behavior and promote human`s feelings. These two standards distances the value of beautydue to the natural desires in human and to enjoy the beauty with out any manners or rules.
