المستخلص: The delivery of hadith-related knowledge has evolved in line with the current modern world. This advancement is seen through its content, fields and the methods used, such as using Islamic television programs to convey message of dakwah. Nevertheless, the technology provided must parallel with effective surveillance and monitoring method through construction of a comprehensive guideline that avoids unwanted implications since this important element has been neglected. Thus, the aim of this study is to determine the requirements needed by this guideline to benefit interested parties in the broadcasting field and aid the people who want to produce quality Islamic television programs. This study uses library research method in gathering data from both primary and secondary sources which are later analysed through content analysis approach. There are several criteria that should be fulfilled in order to build a sustainable guideline that comprises of comprehensive content including riwayah and dirayah aspects, the use of explicit terms, inclusion of dalil as fundamental content materials, listing examples of past mistakes in the process of delivering hadith, determination of target group for each section of the guidelines, and formation of systemic monitoring group to encounter issues that arise. The findings concluded that this guideline can ensure the authenticity of hadith that had been used in this field from being deviated from its supposed methods, so that it can fulfil the main objective which is to avoid the usage of rejected evidence in delivering information or making false conclusion about the content of hadith.
