المستخلص: Irregular warfare is one of the oldest forms of wars. Since the end of World War II, there have been more than 80 irregular wars, the civil war in Somalia, the separations in Chechnya, the sectarian conflict in Iraq and Lebanon, and the tribal conflict in Afghanistan. Algeria today is among the countries that face this irregular war on several fronts with several means, and irregular methods of warfare, internally and on the frontiers. On this basis, this paper tries to present the following problem: What kind of irregular wars does Algeria face in light of the regional challenge and internal changes? The methodology is analytical research aiming to explore and demonstrate Algeria's defense strategy in the face of these irregular wars.
