|a هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى الكشف عن الإسهام النسبي لحرية اختيار شريك الحياة والسعادة الزوجية في التنبؤ بكتمان السر لدى المتزوجات. طُبقت الدراسة على عينة قوامها (٤٦٣) متزوجة، تم اختيارهن بالطريقة المتيسرة، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، تم تطوير مقياس حرية اختيار شريك الحياة، ومقياس السعادة الزوجية، ومقياس كتمان السر. كشفت نتائج الدراسة عن مستوى مرتفع من حرية اختيار شريك الحياة؛ إذ بلغ متوسط الدرجة الكلية (١,٣٦)، كما كشفت النتائج عن مستوى مرتفع من السعادة الزوجية، وبلغ المتوسط الحسابي الكلي للمقياس (١,٦٧)، وكشفت النتائج أيضًا عن مستوى مرتفع من كتمان السر لدى المتزوجات، وبلغ المتوسط الحسابي الكلي للمقياس (١,٥٠)، وأشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أنه يمكن التنبؤ بكتمان السر لدى المتزوجات من خلال حرية اختيار شريك الحياة والسعادة الزوجية؛ إذ فسر متغير السعادة الزوجية ما نسبته (١٢,٧%) من التباين، في حين فسر متغير حرية اختيار شريك الحياة ما نسبته (1,1%) من التباين.
|b The current study aimed at exploring the relative contribution of the freedom in choosing life partner and marital life happiness to the prediction of wives’ secret keeping. The study was implemented on a sample size of 436 wives that were chosen based on convenience sampling. To achieve the study aims, the researchers developed the measurement of freedom in choosing the life partner, the measurement of marital life happiness and the measurement of secret keeping. The findings of the study revealed a high level of the freedom in choosing the life partner, with a total average score of 1.36; the findings also revealed a high level of marital life happiness with a total average measurement score of 1.67. The findings also revealed a high level of wives’ secret keeping, with a total average measurement score of 1.50. The results of the study indicated that wives’ secret keeping can be predicted through the freedom in choosing the life partner and marital life happiness. The marital life happiness interpreted 12.7% of the variation, whereas the variable of freedom in choosing the life partner interpreted 1.1% of the variation.
