تستهدف الدراسة التعرف على طبيعة استخدامات ذوى الإعاقة لشبكات التواصل الاجتماعي ودورها في تعزيز المشاركة السياسية لديهم في مصر خلال الفترة من 2011 وحتى 2020 م، واعتمدت الدراسة على منهج المسح وأداة الاستبيان بالتطبيق على عينة من ذوى الإعاقات المختلفة بلغت (200) مفردة، بعدد من الجامعات المصرية الحكومية، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى تصدر الفيس بوك قائمة المواقع الإلكترونية تفضيلاً لدى ذوى الإعاقة، وهو ما يشير إلى أن الفيس بوك هو الأكثر استخداماً لدى ذوى الإعاقة مقارنة بمواقع التواصل الأخرى، وهو ما يعنى تنوع الخصائص التي تميزه عن غيره، والاكتفاء به لتحقيق الإشباع الكامل لجميع احتياجاتهم المعرفية وشغل وقت الفراغ والاسترخاء وغيرها، كما أكدت النتائج اهتمام صفحات التواصل الاجتماعي بقضايا ذوى الإعاقة جاء كافياً بنسبة (45.5)، وإلى حد ما بنسبة (32.0)، وهو ما يعنى أن ذوى الإعاقة يرون أن صفحات التواصل الاجتماعي تأتى كافية لدى الذين لا يعانون من إعاقة السمع أو البصر حيث أنهم أقرب للطبيعيين، ومن ثم لديهم من الموضوعات العامة ما تجعلهم يتواصلون مع الغير في موضوعات قد لا تكون قضايا الإعاقة أحد محاورها، كما جاء تفضيل ذوى الإعاقة لشبكات التواصل في جوانب الاستخدام العام بنسبة (50.0)، ثم الخاص بنسبة (37.5)، وهوما يعنى أن غالبية ذوى الإعاقة لا يهتمون بقضاياهم عند وجود الموضوع الأكثر أهمية عبر صفحات التواصل الاجتماعي، ومن ثم فهم يتابعون كل الموضوعات دون تمييز، ثم طرح قضاياهم فى الترتيب الثاني عندما تكون الفرص متاحة للعرض والمناقشة واستجابة المؤسسات الحكومية لمطالبهم، وأن استخداماتهم لشبكات التواصل الاجتماعي قد دعم قضاياهم لدى صناع القرار.
The study aims to identify the nature of the use of social media by persons with disabilities and its role in enhancing their political participation in Egypt after the January 2011 revolution. The study indicated that Facebook topped the list of websites in preference for people with disabilities through social networks, which indicates that Facebook is the most preferred and used by people with disabilities compared to other communication sites, This means the abundance of features and characteristics that distinguish this website from others, which people with disabilities can be satisfied with in order to fully satisfy all their cognitive and recreational needs, occupy leisure and relaxation time, etc. A percentage of (32.0), which means that people with disabilities see that social media pages are sufficient for those who do not suffer from a hearing or vision impairment as they are closer to natural people, and then they have general issues that make them communicate with others on topics that may not be disability One of its axes, as was the preference of people with disabilities for communication networks in aspects of public use, at a rate of (50.0), and then the private rate of (37.5), which means that the majority of people with disabilities do not care With their issues when the most important topic is found on social media pages, and then they follow all the topics without discrimination, then put their issues in the second order when opportunities are available for presentation and discussion, and the governmental institutions respond to their demands.
