المستخلص: ينقسم هذا البحث إلى شقين؛ نظري وتطبيقي. يوضح القسم النظري معنى كل من العجائبي والخروفة، ويفصل القول في "عجائبية الخراريف" بوصفها عجائبية خاصة، تتمثل عناصر العجائبي، وتضيف إليها ما يتوافق مع طبيعة الخروفة. أما القسم التطبيقي فيحلل نصوص الخراريف في كتاب "موسوعة الكائنات الخرافية في التراث الإماراتي". وأهم نتائجه: بروز شبكة موضوعات "الأنا"، وغياب شبكة موضوعات "الأنت"، وارتباط الوظيفة الأدبية للعجائبي في الخراريف بفعل الرواية الشفوية لأنها مرويات شفاهية دونت في وقت متأخر، وظهور وظيفتين جديدتين للعجائبي في نصوص الخراريف، هما: الوظيفة التربوية والأخلاقية، والوظيفة المتكئة على طبيعة الخرافة باعتبارها وسيلة من وسائل تفسير مظاهر الوجود، إضافة إلى الوظيفتين الرئيستين للعجائبي: الأدبية والاجتماعية. وهيمنة الشخصية باعتبارها العنصر العجائبي الرئيس في الخراريف، وغياب الزمن والمكان العجائبيين عن معظم النصوص.

This research is composed of two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical section clarifies both the fantastic element and al kharrofa, al gives examples of both. Moreover, it adds to what corresponds to the kharrofa’s nature. On the other hand, the practical section analyses texts of Al khararif in the «Encyclopedia of the Superstitious Creatures in the Emirati Heritage». It also reveals several important results of this section like: a lot of topics related to the pronoun (I), but there is absence of topics related to the pronoun (You), and the literary function of the fantastic in al khararif is linked to the verbal narration because al khararif are oral narratives that were written at later time. At last, there appeared two new functions of the fantastic element: moral and educational, and the function that is associated with superstition as a means of explaining the manifestations of existence, in addition to the main tasks of the literary and the socialistic ones, the appearance of the character as a main fantastic element in al khararif, and the absence of the fantastic time and place from more texts.
