المستخلص: يعد علم التأصيل اللغوي من العلوم العربية التي تتضح فيها أعمال وجهود التركستاني اللغوية، لا سيّما فيما يتعلّق بالألفاظ؛ إذ أخرج في خدمة هذا العلم نتاجًا علميًا ليس باليسير خلال مسيرته الأكاديمية التي تجاوزت الأربعين سنة. ويسعى هذا البحث إلى الوقوف على طرق التأصيل اللغوي للألفاظ عند التركستاني ضمن مستويات اللغة الثلاثة (الصوتيّة والصرفيّة والدلاليّة)، وبيان آرائه وترجيحاته فيها. وقد التزم البحث قدر الإمكان بسمات البحث العلمي وعناصره، وكانت طبيعته تقتضي السير على المنهج الوصفي- في أكثر جوانبه- واتّخاذه طريقة له في عرض شيء من هذه الجهود ومناقشتها. وقد وقف من خلال مباحثه على نتائج مهمة، إذ يتبين اهتمام التركستاني بالتأصيل اللغوي لكثير من الألفاظ، وموافقته لما ذكره سابقوه من علماء اللغة، فلم يخرج عن خط سيرهم من حيث الاعتناء باللغة، والعمل على إثبات مرونتها في كل زمان ومكان، كما دلّل على أن العديد من الألفاظ في اللهجات المحليّة اليوم لها صلة قوية ووثيقة بما كان في العربية قديمًا، إضافة إلى أنّ أصل بعضها يعود إلى لغات سامية. كما بيّن أن تعدّد الظواهر الصوتية في اللفظ الواحد عائدٌ إلى التطور الذي لحق بها خلال حقب زمنية مختلفة، وتعدّد القبائل، والاختلاف القائم بينها في النطق. وما هذا البحث إلا إشارات عابرة حول جهود التركستاني وطريقته في مجال التأصيل اللغوي للألفاظ الواردة في كتابه (في أصول الكلمات)؛ ويوصي الباحثين بتناول جميع ما قدمه في هذا المجال من نتاج علميّ، والاستفادة منه، ودراسته بصورة أشمل وأوسع وأدق.

Linguistic etymology is one of the Arabic sciences in which the works and linguistic efforts of Al-Turkistani’s are well noticed, especially with regard to words. He made tremendous efforts in the service of this science through the works he during his academic career which exceeded forty years. This research seeks to identify the ways of linguistic rooting of words by Turkistani within the three levels of language (phonetic, morphological and semantic), and to explain his opinions and preferences in them. The research adhered as much as possible to the characteristics and elements of scientific research, and its nature required following the descriptive approach - in its most aspects - and considering it a method to present and discuss some of these efforts. The research was concluded by mentioning the most important findings, as it was evident that Turkistani’s interest in the linguistic rooting of many words, and his agreement with what his predecessors of linguists mentioned, he followed their path in showing a great concern about the language, and working to prove its flexibility in every time and place, as he indicated that many of the words in local dialects today have a strong and close connection with that of the ancient Arabic, in addition to the fact that the origin of some of them goes back to Semitic languages. He also showed that the multiplicity of phonetic phenomena in a single pronunciation is due to the development that took place during different periods of time, the multiplicity of tribes, and the difference between them in pronunciation. This research is only a passing reference about the efforts of Turkistani and his method in the field of linguistic establishment of the words contained in his book (Fī Uṣūl al-Kalimāt); The researchers are urged to take all of his scholarly works in this field, benefit from it, and study it more comprehensively, broadly, and accurately.
