|a هدف البحث الحالي إلى التعرف على مستوى عادات العقل لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية بدولة الكويت وعلاقتها باتجاهاتهم نحو تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث قامت الباحثة بإعداد مقياس لعادات العقل ومقياس للاتجاهات نحو تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية، وتم تطبيق أداتي البحث على عينة قوامها (١٤٦) تلميذ وتلميذة بالصفين الرابع والخامس بالمرحلة الابتدائية وتوصل البحث إلى: وجود مستوى متوسط من عادات العقل لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية عينة البحث حيث بلغت قيمة "ت" (13.94) وهي قيمة دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى (0.01)، وجود مستوى متوسط من الاتجاهات نحو تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية لدى التلاميذ عينة البحث حيث بلغت قيمة "ت" (7.58) وهي قيمة دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى (0.01)، وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى دلالة (0.01) بين درجات التلاميذ عينة البحث على مقياس عادات العقل وبين درجاتهم على مقياس الاتجاهات نحو تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية حيث بلغت قيمة معامل الارتباط (0.319).
|b The aim of the current research is to identify the level of mind habits of primary school students in the State of Kuwait and their relationship to their attitudes towards learning English. To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher prepared a scale for the habits of mind and a scale for attitudes towards learning the English language. The two research tools were applied to a sample of (146) male and female students in the fourth and fifth grades in the primary, the research concluded: There is an average level of habits of mind among primary school students in the research sample, where the value of "T" was (13.94), which is a statistically significant value at the level (0.01), and there is an average level of attitudes towards learning English among the students. The research sample students where the value of “t” reached (7.58), which is a statistically significant value at the level (0.01), and there is a positive statistically significant correlation at the level of significance (0.01) between the scores of the research sample students on the scale of habits of mind and their scores on the scale of attitudes towards learning. English language, where the value of the correlation coefficient (0.319).
