المستخلص: This article aims to demonstrate first of all whether our learners of the final class use reformulation techniques in their exchanges, to then analyze their mode of operation, and this, based on the descriptors of the CEFRL (Conseil E., 2000) which give our study scientific objectivity. It shows that our learners know how to distinguish their words from those of others, while maintaining the same ideas. The principle of reformulation encloses the discourse of learners and conditions their performance in language. It is the main vehicle for spontaneous oral communication and language autonomy.

L’article vise à démontrer d’abord si nos apprenants de la classe terminale recourent dans leurs échanges aux techniques de la reformulation, pour analyser ensuite leur mode de fonctionnement, et ce, en se basant sur les descripteurs du CECRL (Conseil E., 2000) qui confèrent à notre étude de l’objectivité scientifique. Il en ressort que nos apprenants savent démarquer leurs propos de ceux des autres, tout en maintenant les mêmes idées. Le principe de la reformulation enserre le discours des apprenants et conditionne leur performance en langue. Il est le vecteur principal d’une communication orale spontanée et d’une autonomie langagière.
