المستخلص: The aim of this paper is to address the impact of the use of CAT tools in professional practice, and specifically, in machine translation (MT), as well as its introduction in university teaching as well as the work resulting. the post-editing. To achieve this goal, we present the didactic experience resulting from the analysis of the translations of an economic and financial text from a German journal, analysis carried out by three different MT engines. This work was carried out within a didactic unit devoted to "Correction and post-editing" that we teach as part of the subject "General B-A Translation: German-Spanish" in the Degree in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Alicante. We worked with first-year students with little experience in translation, who were asked to produce a human translation of the same text in order to compare it with the machine translations mentioned..

Este trabajo pretende abordar el impacto del uso de las herramientas TAO en la práctica profesional, más concretamente, de la traducción automática (TA), así como la introducción en las aulas universitarias de esta herramienta y la labor devenida de ella: la posedición. Para ello, presentamos aquí la experiencia didáctica resultante del análisis de las traducciones de un texto periodístico de temática económico-financiera alemán realizadas por tres motores diferentes de TA, un análisis que se llevó a cabo en el marco de una unidad didáctica dedicada a la “Corrección y posedición” que impartimos en el seno de la asignatura “Traducción general B-A: Alemán-Español”, del Grado en Traducción e Interpretación de la Universidad de Alicante con alumnado de primer curso y poca experiencia traductora, al que se le encargó asimismo una traducción humana del mismo texto con la que cotejar las traducciones automáticas generadas por los tres motores de TA.
