المستخلص: لقد أصر ألبرت كامو على البعد الأسطوري لمشروعه الأدبي الإبداعي. إن الأسطورة، حين يعاد استثمارها أو خلقها بالنص الأدبي، تشكل وسيلة لتحرير العالم وإعادة تصميمه، وهي أيضا المكان البارز حيث يتحدى فيه الواقع والخيال ويتقاربان. تقترح هذه المقالة دراسة أسطورة أوليس في أعمال كامو. الحضور المهووس لموضوعات أسطورية يظهر أن أسطورة أوليس لا تحتل مكانا مركزيا فقط في أعمال كامو، بل إنها تشهد أيضاً على تجريه وجودية مكثفة.

Albert Camus has repeatedly claimed the mythical dimension of his creative literary enterprise. The myth, as it is reinvested or created by the literary text, becomes, according to him, a means of de compartmentalizing the world, the privileged place where the real and the imaginary challenge and measure each other. This article aims to study the myth of Ulysses in Camus’ work. The haunting presence of certain mythical themes should demonstrate that the myth of Ulysses not only occupies a central place in Camus’ work, it also bears witness to an intense existential experience.

Albert Camus a revendiqué à maintes reprises la dimension mythique de son entreprise d création littéraire. Le mythe, tel qu’il est réinvesti ou créé par le texte littéraire, devient, selon lui, un moyen de décloisonner le monde, le lieu privilégié où le réel et l’imaginaire se défient et se mesurent. Cet article se propose d’étudier le mythe d’Ulysse dans l’oeuvre de Camus. La présence obsédante de certains thèmes mythiques devrait démontrer que le mythe d’Ulysse n’occupe pas seulement une place centrale dans l’oeuvre camusienne, il témoigne aussi d’une expérience existentielle intense.
