المستخلص: يتناول البحث ظاهرة الاغتراب كظاهرة أدبية فلسفية، أخذت حيزاً في الرواية العربية منذ بدايات القرن العشرين، وتشكلت عبر ملامح وتجليات متعددة، حيث شكلت في مجملها منظومة فكرية نفسية، فتبدت في العلاقة بين الذات الإنسانية والكتابة الروائية، ونجيب محفوظ من الروائيين الذين تفننوا في بث الاغتراب عبر شخوص رواياته ومنها: رواية (اللص والكلاب)، فاستخدمه كآلية من آليات الرفض والتمرد، أو وسيلة من وسائل الانسحاب والانزواء بعيداً عن المحيط الاجتماعي العام، ومن ثم فإن البحث يهدف إلى الكشف عن ألوان الاغتراب التي طالت الشخصية الروائية في رواية (اللص والكلاب)، ودراسة هذه الألوان الإغترابية، وبيان مدى قدرتها على توصيل مراد الروائي مع ربطها بالإطار الزمني للرواية، وقد اعتمدت في البحث على المنهج التحليلي من خلال الوقوف على ألوان الاغتراب في الشخصية واستنباط آلياتها، مع تحليل كل لون تحليلاً أدبياً، وقد توصلت لعدة نتائج أهمها: أن الشخصيات الإغترابية تحمل معان مزدوجة تسير في اتجاهين: داخلي وخارجي، وينتهي الاتجاه الخارجي إلى الكشف وتعرية الداخلي، كما أن الاغتراب النفسي للشخصية الدينية شكل ملمحاً رئيساً يتماهى والصبغة الفلسفية/ العلمية التي يتبناها نجيب محفوظ، حيث كان لا يرى في رجال الدين وأقوالهم حلولاً لأدواء المجتمع؛ لذا صبغهم بالجمود والتخلف عن ركب المدنية والحضارة غالباً، وأيضاً فإن صورة الشخصية الإغترابية في هذه الرواية وما بعدها من المرحلة الفلسفية تعد نتاجاً للتمزقات الضخمة في جدار الوضعية الاجتماعية والسياسية في فترة الخمسينيات والستينيات، تلك الفترة التي اعتراها الاغتراب داخل الوطن والشعور بعدم الانتماء، أظهرت تجليات الاغتراب التي وظفها نجيب محفوظ في بناء الشخصية الروائية في فضح وتعرية المجتمع، وكشف مظاهر الخيانة والانتهازية.

The research deals with the phenomenon of alienation as a literary and philosophical phenomenon, which took place in the Arabic novel since the beginning of the twentieth century, and was formed through multiple features and manifestations, as it constituted a psychological intellectual system in its entirety. In broadcasting alienation through the characters of his novels, including: the novel (The Thief and the Dogs), he used it as a mechanism of rejection and rebellion, or as a means of withdrawal and isolation away from the general social environment, and then the research aims to reveal the colors of alienation that affected the fictional character in the novel ( The Thief and the Dogs), and the study of these alienating colors, and showing the extent of their ability to communicate the novelist’s intentions while linking them to the time frame of the novel. The results of the most important of which are: that the alienated personalities carry double meanings that go in two directions: internal and external, and the external direction ends with revealing and exposing the internal, and the psychological alienation of the religious figure constituted an important feature. Yassa identifies with the philosophical/scientific character adopted by Naguib Mahfouz, as he did not see clerics and their sayings as solutions to society's ills. So he painted them with stagnation and lagging behind the ranks of civilization and civilization often, and also, the image of the alienated personality in this novel and the subsequent philosophical stage is a product of the huge ruptures in the wall of the social and political situation in the fifties and sixties, that period in which alienation within the homeland and the feeling of no belonging were experienced, manifested manifestations The alienation that Naguib Mahfouz employed in building the fictional character in exposing and stripping society, and revealing manifestations of betrayal and opportunism.
