المستخلص: قام مصطفى حلمي بجهود ضخمة في بعث وإحياء الفكر السلفي القديم، وإثراء المكتبة الإسلامية بمؤلفات عديدة، ومخطوطات أثرية نادرة كان قد علاها التراب، وطوتها رحى النسيان والإهمال، وبعث إلى الوجود كتبا عتيقة أعاد تحقيقها ونشرها، وترك من ذلك كله تراثا هائلا من الكتب في بيان فكر أهل السنة والجماعة (الفكر السلفي). ولقد بلغ عدد مؤلفاته أكثر من ثلاثين كتابا مؤلفا، و، وحقق عدد كبير من كتب التراث، ولايزال في مكتبته الكثير منها التي هي في طريقها إلى التحقيق أو الطباعة. كانت جهود الشيخ في التأليف والتدريس، وفي الإشراف على الرسائل العلمية تصب كلها في خدمة المنهج السلفي، فمشروعه العلمي كله تجديد في تناول المنهج السلفي، ودفاع عنه، وليس من الدقة القول بأنه: (بعث وتجديد للسلفية فلسفياً) فالتجديد لدى الشيخ منهجي شرعي وليس فلسفي، لان الفلسفة هي الفكر المجرد عن الشرع، حيث توفرت لدى الشيخ ملكة التأليف في منهجية علماء أهل السنة في تحليل الأفكار المخالفة والرد عليها من جهة، والتقعيد لمنهجهم في أصول الدين من جهة أخرى. وفي إطار البيان والتقعيد، والدفاع والتجديد، لمنهج أهل السنة والجماعة في العقيدة، أصدر الشيخ العديد من المؤلفات التي تنحصر في خمسة محاور: المحور الأول: العقيدة الإسلامية. وهي أهم المحاور على الإطلاق، وقد أثرت مصنفاته فيها المكتبة الإسلامية، وأهمها. المحور الثاني: منهج أهل السنة والجماعة في الموقف من التصوف والصوفية المحور الثالث: الفلسفة، والتغريب والغزو الثقافي. المحور الرابع: علم مقارنة الأديان. المحور الخامس: الفكر السياسي الإسلامي. قام مصطفى حلمي بجهود كبيرة تاريخية وأدبية تأليفا وتحقيقا لأجل أن يقدم خدمة جليلة لنشر الفكري السلفي الذي كان يرجو له مصطفى حلمي أن ينبعث مرة أخرى من رقاده، وأن ينتهض من سباته، وأن ينتشر بقوة في العالمين، وأن يتغلغل بسهولة ويسر في عقول وأذهان المسلمين. وقد تأثر الشيخ مصطفى حلمي بالمؤلفات التي كانت في مجال العقيدة أكثر من تأثره بتوجهات أساتذته في العلوم الفلسفية والاجتماعية، بل إن مرجعية إبداعه في التقعيد والرد التحليلي على المتكلمين والفلاسفة وغيرهم، تكمن في أنه جمع بين ثقافة الدراسة الجامعية في قسم الدراسات الفلسفية والاجتماعية، والاطلاع على مؤلفات العلماء الأوائل في العقيدة الإسلامية، فوفقه الله إلى تغليب منهج أهل السنة والجماعة واستخدام ثقافته في بيان وتحليل أقوال المخالفين والرد عليها، مع بيان الطرح الإسلامي الصحيح في القضايا محل الخلاف، وهو ما تجلى في رسالتيه؛ الماجستير والدكتوراه، ومؤلفاته التي بعد ذلك.

Mustafa Helmy made great efforts in reviving the ancient Salafist thought, enriching the Islamic library with numerous books, and rare archaeological manuscripts that had been covered by dust, and covered in oblivion and neglect. Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama`ah Thought (Salafi Thought). The number of his books has reached more than thirty authored books, and he has achieved a large number of heritage books, and he still has many of them in his library that are on the way to investigation or printing. The Sheikh’s efforts in authoring and teaching, and in supervising scientific theses were all in the service of the Salafi method, so his entire scientific project is a renewal in dealing with the Salafi method and defending it. And it is not philosophical, because philosophy is the thought abstracted from the law, as the sheikh had the ability to compose in the methodology of Sunni scholars in analyzing and responding to contradictory ideas on the one hand, and restricting their approach to the principles of religion on the other hand. Within the framework of the statement, the recitation, the defense and the renewal of the approach of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah in the belief, the Sheikh issued many books that are limited to five axes: The first axis: the Islamic faith. It is the most important themes at all, and his works have influenced the Islamic library, the most important of which. The second axis: The approach of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama`ah in the attitude towards Sufism and Sufism The third axis: Philosophy, Westernization and cultural invasion. Fourth Axis: Comparative Science of Religions. The fifth axis: Islamic political thought. Mustafa Helmy made great historical and literary efforts in writing and investigation in order to provide a great service to propagate the Salafi ideology that Mustafa Helmy hoped for him to rise again from his slumber, to rise from his slumber, to spread powerfully in the worlds, and to easily and easily penetrate into the minds and minds of Muslims. Sheikh Mustafa Helmy was influenced by the literature that was in the field of faith more than he was influenced by the orientations of his teachers in the philosophical and social sciences. Rather, the reference for his creativity in the analysis and the analytical response to the speakers, philosophers and others, lies in the fact that he combined the culture of university study in the Department of Philosophical and Social Studies, and perusal On the writings of the first scholars in the Islamic faith, and God granted him success to give priority to the method of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah and to use its culture in clarifying and analyzing the opposing statements and responding to them, with an explanation of the correct Islamic approach to the issues in dispute, which was evident in his two letters; Master's and Ph.D., and his writings after that.
