المستخلص: The principle of Subrogation is a logical consequence of the principle of compensation, which states that the insured cannot make his insurance contract a source of profit, but is a means of compensating only for the damage suffered, and Subrogation as a consequence of that principle, it applies to all insurance contracts to which the principle of compensation applies, that is, it does not apply within the scope of life and personal accident insurance, and this research will address the scope of the right of Subrogation to insure things in the marine insurance contract through three sections, The first section deals with the rights in which Subrogation are made, the second section deals with cases in which Subrogation are refrained, and the third and last section deals with the conditions for the insured to replace the insured.
