المستخلص: This work focuses on the dynamic description of the articulatory mode of uvular, in particular the occlusive /q/ of the Arabic language system. This phoneme is placed in the vowel context of /a/ and /u/, and distributed in the three positions namely: initial, intervocalic and final. A correlation between the shape of the cavities and the acoustic aspect of the different phonemes will be established; in order to identify the specificities of each phoneme. This consonant has a noticeable effect on the F1 formant of vowels. This effect is attributed to the transfer of the tongue towards the velar part and the pharyngeal wall. The configuration of the pharyngeal cavity is brought to light using the cine-radiography used in this research.

Ce travail porte sur la description dynamique du mode articulatoire de l’uvulaire occlusive /q/ du système de la langue arabe. Ce phonème est placé dans le contexte vocalique du /a/ et du /u/, et distribué dans les trois positions à savoir : à l’initiale, en inter vocalique et en finale. Une corrélation entre la forme des cavités et l’aspect acoustique des différents phonèmes sera établie ; afin de dégager les spécificités de chaque phonème. Cette consonne a un effet notable sur le F1 des voyelles ; cet effet est attribué au report de la langue vers la partie vélaire et la paroi pharyngale. La configuration de la cavité pharyngale est mise en lumière à l’aide de la ciné-radiographie utilisée dans cette recherche.
