المستخلص: علم اللسانيات هو مجال دراسي واسع يهتم بدراسة لغة الإنسان. يتفرع إلى عدة تخصصات، يجب أن نذكر من بينها علم المفردات أو المعجم، الذي يتعامل مع دراسة المفردات وبالتحديد حسب معانيها وترددها (أو تكرارها) وتطورها. يمكن فهم هذا العلم ودراسته في إطار عدة جوانب مثل دراسة ظاهرة الاقتراض أو الاستعانة بمفردات من اللغات الأخرى، وعملية دمجها في مصطلحات اللغة المضيفة وكذلك السياسات اللغوية الموضوعة لمواجهة التدفق المستمر للمفردات الأجنبية. من المؤكد أن هذه الاستعانة تلبي احتياجات تطور المجتمع لتسمية الحقائق الجديدة الخارجة عن اللغة التقليدية أو المضيفة، إلا أن وجودها الهائل في البنية المعجمية للغة يمكن أن يشكل خطرا حقيقيا على وجود هذه اللغة نفسها عن طريق غزو المفردات الأجنبية. هذا ما أدى إلى وضع سياسات مثل قانون توبون Toubon لعام 1994.

Linguistics is a vast field of study that is concerned with the study of human language. It is subdivided into several disciplines, among which we should mention lexicology, which deals with the study of the lexicon in its meaning, frequency, structure and evolution. The lexicon can be understood and studied under several aspects such as the study of the phenomenon of borrowing from other languages, the process of their integration into the nomenclature of the host language as well as the linguistic policies put in place to in the face of the interrupted influx of foreign lexies. Certainly the loan meets the needs of the evolution of society to name new extralinguistic realities, however their? massive presence in the lexical structure of a language can constitute a real danger to its very existence. This is the reason why language policies have emerged like (the Toubon Law of 1994). The context must be understood to examine this phenomenon.

La linguistique est un vaste champ d’étude qui s’intéresse à l’étude du langage humain. Elle se subdivise en plusieurs disciplines parmi lesquelles il convient de citer la lexicologie qui s’occupe de l’étude du lexique dans sa signification, sa fréquence, sa structure et son évolution. Le lexique peut être appréhendé et étudié sous plusieurs aspects comme l’étude du phénomène de l’emprunt à d’autres langues, le processus de leur intégration au sein de la nomenclature da la langue hôte ainsi que les politiques linguistiques mises en place pour faire face à l’afflux ininterrompu des lexies étrangères. Certes l’emprunt répond aux besoins de l’évolution de la société pour dénommer de nouvelles réalités extralinguistiques, cependant leur présence massive dans la structure lexicale d’une langue peut constituer un véritable danger pour son existence même. C’est la raison pour laquelle des politiques linguistiques ont vu le jour à l’instar de la Loi Toubon de 1994 pour se pencher sur ce phénomène.
