المستخلص: هدف هذا البحث إلى التعرف ترسيم الحدود بين الدول في القانون الدولي، وذلك من خلال التعرف على مفهوم الحدود الدولية وأنواعها، ومفهوم ترسيم الحدود وأهميته وأسبابه، وأنواع النزاعات الحدودية، والجهة المختصة بعملية ترسيم الحدود الدولية، ونطاق سلطات الجهة المختصة بعملية الترسيم، والقيمة القانونية لأعمال الجهة المختصة بعملية الترسيم. وقد توصل البحث أن عملية الترسيم هي عملية لاحقة أو تالية لعملية تعيين الحدود، يراد بها تطبيق خط الحدود الموصوف في سند إنشائه ووضعه موضع التنفيذ العملي على الطبيعة عن طريق العلامات الحدودية أو أي علامات أخرى تدل عليه، ولعملية الترسيم أهمية خاصة لأن مجرد القيام بعملية التعيين لا يضفي على الحدود الدولية طابع الثبات والنهائية ولا يمكن إن يسحم الخلافات حول الحدود، ويقوم بهذه العملية جهة متخصصة تمتلك الخبرة التقنية والفنية التي تمكنها من أداء مهامها على الوجه المطلوب، وقد تعترض عملها صعوبات عملية تحول دون التنفيذ الحرفي لخط الحدود الموصوف على الورق، ولذلك فقد استقر الفقه والعمل الدوليان على الإقرار للجهة المختصة بترسيم الحدود بسلطة تقديرية في هذا المجال تمكنها من إدخال التعديلات والانحرافات الضرورية على خط الحدود المراد ترسيمه، فإذا أتمت الجهة القائمة بعملية الترسيم أعمالها على النحو الذي ترتضيه الدول المعنية، فأن الأثر القانوني المترتب على أعمالها يتوقف على مدي السلطات التي تتمتع بها، فقد تمنح تلك الجهة سلطة إصدار قرارات ملزمة ونهائية دون الرجوع إلى الدولتين المعنيتين، وقد تكون سلطاتها مقيدة بحيث تخضع أعمالها لتصديق وموافقة الدول ذات العلاقة، بالإضافة إلى ما تقدم فأن عملية الترسيم قد تكون مصدرا للكثير من المنازعات الحدودية.

The objective of this research is to identify the delimitation of the boundary between States in international law by identifying the concept and types of international boundaries, the concept of the demarcation of the boundary and its significance and causes, the types of border disputes, the competent authority for the demarcation of the international boundary, the scope of the competent authority's powers for the demarcation process and the legal value of the work of the competent authority for the demarcation process.the research found that the demarcation process was subsequent or subsequent to the demarcation process. ", intended to apply the boundary line described in its establishment bond and to put it into practice on nature by means of boundary marks or any other indication thereof, The demarcation process is particularly important because the mere fact that the recruitment process does not confer a firm and definitive character on international borders and cannot bridge boundary disputes This process is carried out by a specialized body with technical and technical expertise that enables it to perform its functions as required, Their work may be hampered by practical difficulties in the verbatim implementation of the line of boundaries described on paper and therefore international jurisprudence and action to recognize the competent demarcation authority with discretion in this area enabling it to make the necessary adjustments and deviations to the demarcation line; If the demarcator completes its work as consented to by the States concerned the legal effect of their actions depends on the extent of their powers, The authority to make binding and final decisions may be granted without reference to the States concerned and their powers may be restricted so that their actions are subject to the ratification and approval of the relevant States; In addition to the foregoing, demarcation may be the source of many border disputes.
