المستخلص: تعد المتاحف من المؤسسات الرئيسة في الدول التي تهتم بحفظ، وإدارة، وإتاحة، وخدمة المعرفة والتراث وذاكرة الدولة؛ فتعاون المتاحف وتكاملها مع مؤسسات المعلومات يشكل أمرا حيويا لاستمرار أدائها بنجاح؛ فهذه المتاحف وتلك المؤسسات تعد شركاء في توفير الوصول إلى المعلومات، ومن ثم دعم وتعزيز فرص التعلم مدى الحياة، والحفاظ على التراث الثقافي والعلمي للمجتمعات التي تخدمها. ولقد وصف كل من ديامانت كوهين Diamant-Cohen، وشيرمان Sherman عام 2003 التعاون بين المكتبات والمتاحف على أنه "موجة المستقبل Wave of the future؛ ولقد حدث هذا التعاون والتكامل بالفعل في العديد من الدول المتقدمة مثل بريطانيا، والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، واليابان... إلا أنه لم يحدث كثيرا في الوطن العربي. من أجل ذلك سعت الباحثتان إلى إجراء هذه الدراسة لإعداد مقرر دراسي لطلاب قسم المكتبات والمعلومات بجامعة الإسكندرية؛ هذا المقرر يمكن تبنيه بشتى الأقسام المماثلة بالوطن العربي التي ليس لديها مقرر دراسي يؤهل خريجي هذه الأقسام لدعم التعاون بينها وبين شتى مؤسسات المعلومات في هذا الوطن الذي يزخر بالعديد من المتاحف الوطنية القيمة. إن مدينة الإسكندرية تزخر بالعديد من المتاحف الوطنية القيمة، ومع ذلك فإن العلاقة بين هذه المتاحف وبين كل من أساتذة، وخريجي قسم المكتبات والمعلومات بالإسكندرية تكاد تكون منعدمة؛ ومن ثم فقد وجب إعداد هذه الدراسة لإفادة القسم محل الدراسة وغيره من الأقسام المثيلة في الوطن العربي. أما أهم نتائج الدراسة فهي أن هناك ضرورة ملحة لتطور مهنة اختصاصي المكتبات في عصر البيانات الضخمة؛ فمهنتهم لا تقتصر على الخدمات التقليدية، وإنما تمتد إلى شتى مؤسسات المجتمع -ومنها المتاحف- خاصة متاحف الإسكندرية التي تفتقر إلى الخدمات المعلوماتية المتميزة سواء للعاملين بها أو زائريها؛ كما أن هناك إمكانية لتدريس مقرر "مكتبات المتاحف" في قسم المكتبات والمعلومات بجامعة الإسكندرية؛ حيث تبين أن الفرص المتاحة أمام تدريس هذا المقرر أكبر بكثير من التحديات التي قد تعوقه.

Museums are among the main institutions in countries concerned with preserving, managing, disseminating; and serving knowledge, heritage, and the memory of the state. The cooperation and integration of museums with information institutions is vital for their continued successful performance. These museums and institutions are partners in providing access to information, thereby supporting and enhancing opportunities for lifelong learning, and preserving the cultural and scientific heritage of the communities they serve. Diamant-Cohen and Sherman4described collaboration between libraries and museums as the "wave of the future"; This cooperation has already occurred in many developed countries such as Britain, the United States of America, and Japan; however, it did not happen much in the Arab world. For this reason, the researchers sought to conduct this study to design a course for students of the Library and Information Science Department at Alexandria University. This course can be adopted in various similar departments in the Arab world, which abounds in many valuable national museums; However, does not have any academic course that qualifies the graduates of these departments to support cooperation between these museums, and the various information institutions in this world. Alexandria city abounds with many valuable national museums; however, the relationship between these museums and both the professors, and graduates of the LIS Department in Alexandria is almost non-existent; Hence, this study was prepared to benefit the department under study, and other similar departments in the Arab world. The most important results of the study suggest that there is an urgent need for the development of the profession of librarians in the era of big data; whose profession is not limited to traditional services, but extends to the various institutions of society- including museums _ especially the museums of Alexandria, which lack distinguished information services, whether for their employees or visitors. There is also the possibility of teaching the course "Museum's Libraries" in the Library and Information Science Department, Alexandria University; as it was found that the opportunities available for teaching this course are much greater than the challenges that may hinder it.
