المستخلص: تعد تحليل العمليات المخزون والإنتاج من أهم عمليات تحسين كفاءة سلسلة التوريد. إذا ظهر الاهتمام في سلسلة التوريد في تسعينات القرن الماضي، وظهرت الحاجة إلى إيجاد طرائق من شأنها تحسين العمليات الإنتاجية وتقديم منتجات مبتكرة وصديقة للبيئة. فضلا عن ذلك فإن للمخزون من دور كبير في تحسين كفاءة سلسلة التوريد، إذا تعتمد الشركات على تقليل المخزون أو الوصول المخزون الصفري، لما له من دور كبير في تخفيض الكلفة. إذ يشكل الإنتاج والمخزون معا المحرك الأساس لتحسين كفاءة سلسلة التوريد والأنشطة كافة والمهام التي تنوي المنظمة القيام بها لتحقيق أهدافها، ومواكبة التطورات التقنية ذات العلاقة بأنشطتها، فضلا عن التعامل مع التغييرات المفاجئة والتقلبات السريعة في بيئة الأعمال. ومن خلالها ظهرت هناك بعض التحديات والصعوبات التي تواجه المصنع في التخزين والإنتاج. لذا تم تلخيص مشكلة الدراسة بمداها الواسع في التساؤل الآتي: كيف يؤثر تحليل عمليات المخزون والإنتاج في تحسين كفاءة سلسلة التوريد؟. تنبثق أهمية الدراسة الحالية من خلال التركيز على قطاع حيوي ومهم كقطاع صناعة البلاستك الذي يلعب دورا مهما في دعم النشاط الاقتصادي للبلد وتطويره، لهذا فإن دراسة هذه المتغيرات مجتمعة سيساعد المنظمة قيد الدراسة على الارتقاء بمستوى منتجاتها المقدمة للزبائن، وبناء على وضع انموذج فرضي للدراسة يعكس طبيعة علاقات الارتباط والتأثير بين متغيراته إذ اختير مصنع البصرة للصناعات البلاستيكية ميدانا للدراسة، كونه أحد المصانع المهمة في محافظة البصرة ولدورة في دعم النشاط الاقتصادي في البلد، ولغرض تحقيق هدف الدراسة فقد تم اعتمد الباحثان في إجراء الدراسة الحالية على التكامل بين المنهج الوصفي والمنهج الكمي لاستخراج النتائج وتحليل البيانات التي تم جمعها من المصنع قيد الدراسة، إذ اعتمدت الدراسة الحالية على منهج دراسة الحالة (Case Study) بوصفه منهجا يمتاز بالوصف التفصيلي الدقيق في المعلومات ذات العلاقة، فضلا عن إمكانية الجمع في هذا المنهج بين أكثر من أسلوب بحثي في آن واحد لغرض الوصول إلى الأهداف والنتائج المرجوة عبر الاستفادة من التقنيات التي يوفرها هذا المنهج كـ (المشاهدات، والملاحظات، والمقابلات، الشخصية مع العاملين بمختلف المستويات الإدارية)، والاطلاع على السجلات والوثائق للوصول إلى أدق التفاصيل والمعلومات المتوفرة. كما توصلت الدراسة لعدة استنتاجات، أهمها أن دعم الإدارة العليا يعد الركيزة الأساس لبناء الميزة التنافسية عبر دعمهم ومساندتهم للإنتاج.

The analysis of inventory and production processes is one of the most important processes to improve the efficiency of the supply chain. If interest in the supply chain emerged in the nineties of the last century, then there was a need to find ways that would improve production processes and provide innovative and environmentally friendly products. In addition, inventory has a major role in improving the efficiency of the supply chain, if companies rely on reducing inventory or reaching zero inventory, because of its significant role in reducing costs. As production and inventory together constitute the basis for improving the efficiency of the supply chain and all activities and tasks that the organization intends to carry out to achieve its goals, keep abreast of technical developments related to its activities, as well as deal with sudden changes and rapid fluctuations in the business environment. Through it, there were some challenges and difficulties facing the factory in storage and production. Therefore, the problem of the study was summarized in its broad scope in the following question: How does inventory and production process analysis affect supply chain efficiency improvement? The importance of the current study stems from focusing on a vital and important sector such as the plastics industry, which plays an important role in supporting and developing the economic activity of the country. Therefore, studying these variables together will help the organization under study to raise the level of its products offered to customers, and based on the development of a hypothetical model for the study that reflects the nature of the study. Correlation and influence relations between its variables, as the Basra Factory for Plastic Industries was chosen as a field for the study, being one of the important factories in the province of Basra and a cycle in supporting economic activity in the country. And the analysis of the data collected from the factory under study, where the current study relied on the case study method as a method characterized by accurate detailed description in the relevant information, as well as the possibility of combining in this approach more than one research method at the same time for the purpose of access To the desired goals and results by making use of the techniques provided by this approach such as (observations, observations, interviews, personal With employees at various administrative levels), and reviewing records and documents to reach the most accurate details and available information. The study also reached several conclusions, the most important of which is that the support of senior management is the basis for building competitive advantage through their support and support for production.
