هدف البحث إلى التعرف على درجة إسهام أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة الملك خالد في تحقيق معايير التصنيف الدولية في الجامعة، واستخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي، وأعدت استبانة تتكون من أربع محاور أساسية يندرج بها (٣٦) فقرة، تم تطبقيها على العينة وهم أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة الملك خالد الذي تم اختيارهم بطريقة عشوائية والذي بلغ عددهم (٢٠٢) عضواً، وخلص البحث إلى بعض النتائج منها: أن مستوى إسهام أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة الملك خالد في تحقيق معايير التصنيف الدولية للجامعات فيما يخص الأنشطة البحثية والعلمية مرتفع، أن مستوى إسهام أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة الملك خالد في تحقيق معايير التصنيف الدولية للجامعات فيما يخص التقنية والإنترنت من مرتفع جداً، أن مستوى إسهام أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة الملك خالد في تحقيق معايير التصنيف الدولية للجامعات فيما يخص التطوير الذاتي لعملية التدريس مرتفع، أن مستوى إسهام أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة الملك خالد في تحقيق معايير التصنيف الدولية للجامعات فيما يخص التدريس والتعليم واستراتيجياته مرتفع جداً، وقدم البحث بعض من التوصيات منها: طرح المواضيع بطريقة جاذبة لجذب أكبر عدد من المتصفحين لموقع الجامعة وذلك لغرض زيادة نسبة الزيارة لموقع الجامعة وتقديم مكافآت مادية أو معنوية تدعم أعضاء هيئة التدريس على نشر بحوثهم على موقع الجامعة لزيادة الاستشهاد بها وفي المجلات العالمية لرفع مستوى التصنيف.
The study aimed to identify the degree of contribution of the faculty members at King Khalid University in achieving the international ranking standards at the university, and to search for an answer to the main question about the degree to which faculty members at King Khalid University contribute to achieving the required roles to obtain high international ratings for the universities to which faculty members belong in the light of requirements of achieving international rankings? And the sub-questions that fall under it, where the researcher prepared questionnaire consisting of four basic axes that include (36) paragraphs, which were applied to the sample, who are the faculty members at King Khalid University, who were chosen randomly, where the number of the research sample reached (202) individuals, and the results of the study showed that no difference in the responses of the sample members according to the difference of the faculties. Thus, we conclude that the degree of contribution does not differ according to the faculties, and the study revealed that that the level of the degree of contribution of faculty members at King Khalid University in achieving the international classification standards for universities in research and scientific activities from the point of view of faculty members is high.
