المستخلص: Arbitration is a kind of justice chosen by individuals so that they can intervene as private judges to end disputes. In reality, maritime arbitration reveals the existence of a justice different from that of the State. It is justice in itself, but it is private justice, so there is no monopoly in the state in this matter.

L'arbitrage est une sorte de justice choisie par les particuliers afin qu’ils puissent intervenir en tant que juges privés pour mettre fin aux litiges. En réalité, l'arbitrage maritime révèle l'existence d'une justice différente de celle l’Etat. C'est la justice en soi, mais c'est une justice privée, donc il n'y a pas de monopole dans l’Etat en la matière.
