المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى تحليل الاتجاهات والاهتمامات البحثية بأهداف التنمية المستدامة في جامعة الإسكندرية في ضوء الخطط الاستراتيجية القومية للدولة المصرية وكذلك لوزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي بمصر، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف، عمدت الدراسة إلى استخدام أسلوب تحليل المحتوى لتحليل اتجاهات تسجيلات الرسائل العلمية والخطط البحثية بقاعدة البيانات الداخلية بوحدة المكتبة الرقمية بالجامعة (IDLD)؛ وربط مؤشرات التحليل بالمؤشرات المستخلصة من أداة التحليلات والقياسات Scival لأبحاث الجامعة الدولية، وبلغت عدد التسجيلات التي تم تحليلها من قاعدة بيانات IDLD إجمالي 4469 تسجيلة بواقع 2440 خطة بحثية و2029 رسالة علمية بينما بلغ عدد التسجيلات التي تم تحليلها من خلال أداة Scival 3424 تسجيلة. حيث تم استنباط النتائج من خلال تحليل السياسات والممارسات ودراسة تأثيرها على البحث العلمي بالجامعة وربط المؤشرات بالنتاج الدولي واستكشاف مدى تأثيره في التعاون البحثي بالجامعة على المستوى الأكاديمي والصناعي. وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن من أبرز نتائج الدراسة أن جامعة الإسكندرية حصلت على مراكز متقدمة في التصنيفات العالمية التي تهتم بأهداف التنمية المستدامة مثل Green metrics وTHE Impact وذلك نتيجة للسياسات والممارسات الجيدة للجامعة، بينما يعتبر الهدف (الثالث) والهدف (الرابع) الذين يخدمان الصحة والتعليم الجيد على التوالي هما أبرز الاهتمامات البحثية في الجامعة، وجاء متوسط ترتيب الجامعة إقليميا في المركز (36)، بينما وطنيا في المركز (4) من حيث النشر الدولي وفق أهداف التنمية المستدامة. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن المشروعات البحثية والاتفاقات العلمية في مجال التنمية المستدامة التي قامت بها الجامعة كان لها تأثير بالغ في ناتج البحث العلمي الدولي حيث أن الجامعة منفردة تنتج حوالي (8%) من إجمالي النتاج الفكري الدولي المصري. بينما تمثل الاستشهادات بأبحاث الجامعة (12%) من إجمالي الاستشهادات بالأبحاث الدولية المصرية. وجدير بالذكر أن الجامعة تعاونت مع مؤسسات أكاديمية أخرى في نشر أبحاث دولية بنسبة وصلت إلى (57.5%) من إجمالي ما نشرته الجامعة دوليا. وعلى الجانب الآخر، فإن الجامعة تحتاج إلى مزيد من الاهتمام بربط البحث العلمي بالصناعة حيث أن متوسط ما تم نشره من أبحاث دولية بالتعاون مع مؤسسات وجهات صناعية بغرض تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة لا يتعدى نسبة (4.3%) من إجمالي ما نشرته الجامعة دوليا، بالإضافة إلى ضرورة توعية الباحثين خاصة في- الكليات التي حددتها الدراسة- بأهمية ربط أبحاثهم بأهداف التنمية المستدامة. وفي هذا الإطار قدمت الدراسة مجموعة من التوصيات للوزارة، وللجامعة، وكذلك للباحثين والعلماء والتي من شأنها أن تؤثر بفاعلية إيجابية في هذا المجال.

The study aims at analyzing research interest and trends in sustainable development goals (SDGs) at Alexandria University, in view of national strategic plans of the Egyptian government and the Ministry of Research and Higher Education in Egypt. To achieve this goal, An analytical study method was used to analyze theses and protocols in the Internal Digital Library Database (IDLD) at the Digital Library Unit of Alexandria University. The study also related the indicators with those extracted from SciVal tool of analysis and measurement of internationally published research of the university. The total number of records that has been extracted and analyzed from IDLD reached 4469, of which 2440 protocols and 2029 theses. While the total number of extracted and analyzed records from Scival tool reached 3424. The results were concluded through the analysis of related policies and practices, and exploring their effect on scientific research at the university. In addition, linking the indicators with international research publication and exploring its effect on academic and industrial research collaboration at the university. It should be noted that the most significant study result is that Alexandria University has reached high position in the international rankings that are interested in SDGs like THE Impact and Green Metrics. This is attributed to the good policies and practices employed by the university. Moreover, the third and fourth SDGs, that serve health and education respectively, are considered central interest trends of research in the university. The average regional ranking of the university is the 36th position, while nationally it comes in the fourth place in terms of international publication related to SDGs. The study has found that the research projects and scientific agreements conducted by the university had a great impact on the international research publication. Where the university solely produces 8% of the Egyptian international research publications and 12% of the international citations of the Egyptian research. It is also worth noting that the university has actively collaborated with other academic research institutions in 57.5% of its total international research. On the other hand, the university needs to put more interest on industry academia collaboration. As its average international publication in collaboration with industry to achieve SDGs does not exceed 4.3% of its total international publication. Furthermore, the awareness of researchers, especially in the highlighted faculties within the study, should be increased on the importance of directing their research to SDGs. To this framework, the study represents recommendations to the Ministry of Research and Higher Education, Alexandria University, in addition to scientists and researchers, which would positively affect this field.
