Ideologies have great impact on the way discourse makers deliver their speeches. It is through the mean of shared knowledge of ideology we understand each other and perceive the discourse of our leaders and media outlets. The present paper, however, closely investigates the discourse of normalization between Israel and the UAE within the New York Times nespaper in an attempt to uncover the political ideologies embedded in that discourse. It is conducted on the approach of Critical Discourse Analysis. Furthermore, van Dijk’s (2000) strategies of conducting ideological analysis were employed to meet that objective. The strategies proved to be helpful devices in exploring the fundamentally embedded ideologies in the discourse of analysis which are Criticism of president Trump and Republicans, Mutual Benefit (of the normalizing states), Electoral Struggle and Iran as a Foe.
