|a بعد الفتح العربي الإسلامي لبلاد خراسان أصبح هذا الإقليم له أهمية كبيرة في الدولة الإسلامية حيث استقرت فيه أعداد كبيرة من العرب المسلمين من أجل نشر الدين الإسلامي وتثبيته داخل أقاليم هذا البلد، فقد ازدهر الإسلام في خراسان الذي كان أهله على درجة من الاستعداد النفسي والعقلي لتقبل الفكر العربي الإسلامي، لهذا برزت حركة فكرية مزدهرة جعلت من خراسان مركز مهم من مراكز الفكر العربي الإسلامي آنذاك. إن اهتمام الدولة بإقليم خراسان بشكل عام، واهتمام أصحاب العلم والثقافة من الباحثين فيه بشكل خاص، أدى إلى بروز شخصيات علمية مرموقة كان لها أثرها الكبير على الدولة العربية وكان منهم طبقة القضاة الخراسانيين التي تولت أمور القضاء سواء في العراق أو في خراسان، وكان لهؤلاء إسهامات علمية كبيرة إضافة إلى عملهم القضائي. تأتي أهمية هذا البحث بتسليط الضوء على قضاة خراسان الذين تولوا هذه المهنة الحساسة ومارسوها سواء في العراق أو في خراسان أو في مناطق أخرى من خلال ما ذكره الخطيب البغدادي في كتابه تاريخ مدينة بغداد وترجمت حياة أغلب القضاة الذين كانوا رجال علم وحديث والتعرف على مسيرة حياتهم. تناول البحث دراسة عدة أمور منها أولا: تعريف مختصر للقاضي ومهنة القضاء. ثانيا: أعطى نبذة مختصرة عن إقليم خراسان من حيث التسمية والجغرافية والموقع وأقاليمه الأربعة المتمثلة ب هراه ونيسابور وبلخ ومرو أيضا نبذه مختصرة عن كل منها. ثالثا: نبذة عن حياة الخطيب البغدادي وكتابه تاريخ مدينة بغداد. رابعا: ترجمة لقضاة خراسان حسب ما ذكره الخطيب البغدادي في كتابة تاريخ مدينة بغداد. ومن خلال هذه الدراسة نلاحظ أن هناك علاقة علمية فكرية تاريخية ربطت إقليم خراسان الواسع مع العراق وخصوصا بغداد مدينة الثقافة والحضارة العريقة.

It dealt with a study of several issues, including first: a brief definition of the judge and the judicial profession. After: He gave a brief overview of the Khorasan region from the name, geography, location, and its four regions represented by Herat, Nishapur. Balkh, and Merv, as well as a brief summary of each of them. Third: An overview of the life of al-Khatib al- Baghdadi and his book The History of the City of Baghdad. Fourth: A translation of two Q ur'ans, according to al-Khatib al-Baghdadi's writing on the history of the city of Baghdad. And through this study, this scientific: historical, historical study linked the vast province of Khorasan with Iraq in Baghdad, the ancient city of culture and civilization.
