المستخلص: تمتلك محافظة دمشق موروثا ثقافيا ضاربا في التاريخ تشكل من تمازج ثقافات الشعوب والأقوام التي حلت بالمنطقة، وقد أورثت أبنائها تراثا لا ماديا عظيما، ونظرا للانفتاح الكبير في عالم المعلومات اليوم بدأت تلك المحافظة تفقد شيئا من صورتها وطابعها المميز، لذا جاء هذا البحث لمعرفة إمكانية حفظ وإحياء التراث اللامادي عن طريق إقامة المهرجانات في محافظة دمشق. وقد أجرت الباحثة بداية مقابلات معمقة مع بعض سكان محافظة دمشق وذلك لتبيان مشكلة البحث وفرضياته وتحديد المتغيرات، وبعدها اعتمدت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي لإجراء بحثه، كما واعتمدت التصميم المقطعي المفرد في اختيار عينة البحث المكونة من 100 فرد من سكان محافظة دمشق يستجوبون لمرة واحدة. توصلت هذه الدراسة إلى وجود أثر ذو دلالة معنوية للمهرجانات في إحياء التراث اللامادي في محافظة دمشق، وهذه العلاقة تتسم بالطردية بين المتغيرين التابع والمستقل. كما توصلت الدراسة أيضا إلى ضعف في مقومات إقامة المهرجانات في محافظة دمشق والأمر عائد إلى الخلل الأمني الذي لف المحافظة خلال الفترة السابقة، إضافة إلى ضعف الخدمات والتي تخرب قسم كبير منها خلال الحرب على سورية، الأمر الذي أدى إلى قلة أعداد هذه المهرجانات في المحافظة.

Damascus possesses a cultural heritage that is deeply rooted in history. This heritage was formed by the intermingling of the cultures of peoples who settled in the region, and the governorate has inherited its great intangible heritage for its people. In view of the great openness in the information world today, Damascus has begun to lose part of its image and distinctive nature; so this research came to find out the possibility of preserving and reviving the intangible heritage by holding festivals in Damascus Governorate. Initially, the researcher has conducted in-depth interviews with some residents of the governorate to demonstrate the research problem and its hypotheses and to determine the variables, then the researcher relied on the descriptive approach, as well as the single cross-sectional design in selecting the research sample consisting of 100 individuals from the Governorate of Damascus. (They have been asked once). This study found that there is a significant effect of festivals in reviving the intangible heritage in the governorate of Damascus, and this relationship is characterized by directness between the dependent and independent variables. And the study also found a weakness in the elements of establishing festivals in the governorate, and this is due to the lack of security during the previous period, in addition to the low quality services resulting from the destruction of the large part of the infrastructure during the war, which led to a small number of festivals in the governorate of Damascus.
