المستخلص: The aim of this study is to identify the mental skills and their relationship to creative thinking among students of the Faculty of Commerce at Sudan University of Science and Technology (2020-2021). To achieve this goal, the researcher followed the descriptive approach, and the research sample consisted of (50) male and female students from the second and fourth years students, at the Faculty of Commerce, who were chosen by the random method. The Creative Thinking Scale (Torrance) was applied, as well as the mental skills questionnaire prepared by the researcher, and the data were analyzed using the statistical packages for social sciences (SPSS) by applying the following statistical treatments: T-test, Pearson test, and Mann Whitney test. The results were the following: Business administration students' mental skills and creative thinking came to a low degree. There is a direct, statistically significant relationship between the mental skills and creative thinking of students of business studies in the Department of Business Administration. There are no statistically significant differences in the mental abilities of business administration students according to the academic level (second/fourth). The researcher suggested some recommendations, the most important of which is the development of students' mental skills to strengthen their motivation for innovation and creativity in their field of study and to have a strong incentive to spread it in their field of work after graduation.
