المستخلص: في هذا العمل، نحاول تقييم الوضع الاجتماعي اللغوي في المدن الجزائرية، مع التركيز على منهجيات المسح المستخدمة لتحديد مكانة الفرنسية في التعددية اللغوية الحضرية الجزائرية (يو هانرز، 1983). يعتمد البحث على مسح ميداني في مدينة قسنطينة وعلى مجموعة غير متجانسة. ستحاول دراستنا الإجابة على الأسئلة التالية: ما مكانة الفرنسية في التعددية اللغوية الحضرية الجزائرية؟ ما هي المنهجية التي يجب اتباعها لمعالجة القضية مع الشباب الجزائري اليوم؟ يعتمد العمل المنفذ في هذا الاتجاه بشكل عام على المسوحات الميدانية حيث يلاحظ المحقق أو يستقصي مجموعة واحدة أو أكثر في سياق محدد جيدا. في هذا البحث، نحاول مسح نفس المجموعة في العديد من السياقات الاجتماعية الخطابية لمراقبة التغيرات اللغوية بشكل أفضل بين المخبرين. In this work, we try to take stock of the sociolinguistic situation in Algerian cities, emphasizing the survey methodologies used to identify the place of French in Algerian urban multilingualism (U. Hannerz, 1983) . The research is based on a field survey in the city of Constantine and on a heterogeneous corpus. Our study will try to answer the following questions: What is the place of French in Algerian urban multilingualism? What methodology should be adopted to address the issue with young Algerians today? The work carried out in this direction is generally based on field surveys where the investigator observes or surveys one or more groups in a well-defined context. In this research, we try to survey the same group in several socio-discursive contexts to better observe linguistic changes among informants (P. Lamarre 2009)

Dans le présent travail, nous essayons de faire le point sur la situation sociolinguistique dans les villes algériennes, en mettant l’accent sur les méthodologies d’enquête utilisées pour cerner la place du français dans le plurilinguisme urbain algérien (U. Hannerz, 1983). La recherche repose sur une enquête de terrain dans la ville de Constantine et sur un corpus hétérogène. Notre étude tâchera de répondre aux questions suivantes : Quelle est la place qu’occupe le français dans le plurilinguisme urbain algérien ? Quelle méthodologie adopter pour aborder la question auprès jeunes Algériens d’aujourd’hui? Les travaux effectués dans ce sens se basent généralement sur des enquêtes de terrains où l’enquêteur observe ou enquête auprès d’un ou de plusieurs groupes dans un contexte bien déterminé. Nous essayons dans la présente recherche d’enquêter auprès du même groupe dans plusieurs contextes socio-discursifs pour mieux observer les changements linguistiques chez des informateurs (P. Lamarre 2009).
