| 520 | |b This article highlights the experience of the Algerian monetary authorities in the choice and management of the regime and exchange rate of the Algerian dinar compared to other foreign currencies, from independence to the present day. At the same time, we will present the main determinants of the choice of exchange rate regime in Algeria and its macroeconomic performance, as well as the devaluation of the dinar as a regulatory measure in order to restore equilibrium and improve the price competitiveness of local products. |d Cet article met en évidence l’expérience des autorités monétaires algériennes dans le choix et la gestion du régime des changes et du taux de change du dinar algérien par rapport aux autres devises étrangères depuis l’indépendance à nos jours. Nous avons présenter parallèlement les principaux déterminants du choix du régime de change en Algérie et ses performances macroéconomiques, aussi, la dévaluation du dinar comme mesure de régulation afin de rétablir les équilibres et améliorer la compétitivité-prix des produits locaux. | ||
