المستخلص: Le thème de la mort est toujours difficile à discuter. Ionesco et Abdel Sabour ont eu le courage de l’aborder dans deux pièces ayant deux titres proches l’un de l’autre: Le Roi se meurt pour Ionesco et Après la mort du roi pour Abdel Sabour. Est-elle une coïncidence ? Quels sont les ressemblances et les divergences des deux pièces ? Chacun a repris ce thème d’une manière particulière. Il est à signaler qu’un des buts essentiels de cette recherche est la découverte du théâtre de Abdel Sabour peu étudié jusqu’à nos jours. Toutefois, la plupart des recherches portent surtout sur ses poèmes. Nous allons étudier le style, la forme et la fin exceptionnelle des deux pièces. Les deux dramaturges se sont imposés dans leurs pièces afin de nous révéler en tant que spectateurs le même message: les dramaturges ne font pas exception. Ils essayent, comme leurs spectateurs et leurs personnages, d’affronter leur angoisse.

أن الحديث عن الموت ليس بالشيء الهين فهو حقيقة صعب تناولها، بل أن الأصعب هو تناولها على خشبة المسرح. ورغم ذلك فإن هناك كاتبين قد تناولاه في مسرحيتين تحملان عنوانين متقاريبين هما: ايونسكو في مسرحيته (الملك يموت) وصلاح عبد الصبور في مسرحيته (بعد أن يموت الملك). هل يا ترى هذا التشابه في العنوانين هو محض صدفة أم أنه مقصود؟ ما أوجه التشابه وأوجه الاختلاف بين هاتين المسرحيتين من حيث الأسلوب والشكل والنهاية الفريدة لكلتيهما المسرحيتين؟ يجب الإشارة إلى أنه من ضمن أهداف هذا البحث هو إبراز مدى أهمية مسرح صلاح عبد الصبور وعمقه، وعقد مقارنة بينه وبين مسرح ايونسكو من حيث تناول فكرة الموت ومفهومه عند كليهما. أن الكاتبين قد أصرا على أن يظهرا بطريقة أو بأخرى داخل العمل المسرحي كما سنوضح في البحث ليقوما بتوجيه الرسالة نفسها وهي أننا جزء من الجمهور الذي يحاول مواجهة الموت دون خوف أو رهبة.

Discussing death is never easy; it's a challenging truth to confront, and even more so when it comes to addressing it on stage. However, two writers have tackled this topic in plays with similar titles: Ionesco in "The King Dies" and Salah Abdel Sabour in "After the King Dies." Is the similarity in their titles merely a coincidence, or was it intentional? What are the similarities and differences between these two plays in terms of style, form, and their unique endings? It's important to note that one of the aims of this research is to underscore the significance and depth of Salah Abdel Sabour's theatre and to compare it with Ionesco's work in how they approach the concept of death. Both writers have made deliberate appearances within their theatrical works, as discussed in the research, conveying that we, as the audience, must confront death without fear or trepidation.
