المستخلص: من خلال دراسة حالة ترامواي الجزائر العاصمة (الجزائر)، سعت هاته الورقة البحثية إلى تحليل ظاهرة تهرب الركاب من دفع ثمن تذاكر الركوب بغية الحفاظ على هذا المرفق العام وتعزيز المصلحة العامة إلى جانب البيانات والإحصائيات الرسمية المتاحة، استخدمت هاته الورقة البحثية منهجية المسح الميداني بهدف قياس وتيرة تهرب الركاب من دفع ثمن تذاكر الركوب والوقوف على أسباب ودوافع هذا السلوك، وذلك للخروج بجملة من الحلول والتوصيات التي من شأنها وضع حد لهاته الظاهرة وتحسين الخدمة العمومية للنقل الحضري الجماعي.

Using the tram of Algiers (Algeria), as a case study, this research paper aimed to analyse the ticket fare evasion phenomenon in order to maintain this public facility and promote the public interest. Along with the available official data and statistics, this research paper employed the survey methodology with the aim of measuring the frequency of passengers' ticket fare evasion, and the identification of its causes, in order to come out with a set of solutions and recommendations that would put an end to this phenomenon and improve the public service of urban transport .

En utilisant le tramway d'Alger (Algérie), comme etude de cas, cet article avait pour objectif d'analyser le phénomène d'évasion tarifaire, afin de maintenir cet équipement public et de promouvoir l'intérêt général. En plus des données et statistiques officielles disponibles, cet article a utilisé la méthodologie de l'enquête afin de mesurer la fréquence de l'évasion tarifaire des passagers, et l'identification de ses causes, pour sortir avec un ensemble de solutions et de recommandations qui mettrait fin à ce phénomène et améliorerait le service public des transports urbains.
