المستخلص: The interview is considered the ultimate media genre; allowing politicians to share their ideas, opinions, and projects with their public. The communication structure of the interview means that the journalist must get as much information as possible from his guest by asking him questions, which can damage his image. In this study, which falls within the field of the analysis of verbal interactions, it will be a question of checking; through the analysis of interviews of the Algerian president, dedicated to France 24 channel and Aljazeera, and relying on the model of politeness developed by P. Brown and S. Levinson developed by C. Kerbrat-Orecchioni, if linguistic politeness has its place in this kind of speech of a conflicting nature, on the one hand, and the processes used by the discussion partners, which allow to minimize the risk of conflict and facilitate the interaction, on the other hand.

L’interview est le genre médiatique, par excellence, permettant aux hommes politiques de partager leurs idées, opinions et projets avec leur public. La construction communicationnelle de l’interview fait que le journaliste doit tirer le maximum d’informations de son invité en lui posant des questions, ceci peut mettre à mal son image. Dans cette étude, qui s’inscrit dans le domaine de l’analyse des interactions verbales, il sera question de vérifier, à travers l’analyse d’interviews du président Algérien dédiées à la chaine France 24 et la chaine Aljazeera, en s’appuyant sur le modèle de politesse élaboré par P. Brown et S. Levinson aménagé par C. Kerbrat-Orecchioni, si la politesse linguistique a sa place dans ce genre de discours à caractère conflictuel, d’une part, et d’étudier les procédés utilisés par les interactants pour minimiser le risque de conflits et faciliter l’interaction, d’autre part.
