المستخلص: يصف بعض المؤلفين الأماكن العامة الحضرية المعاصرة بأنها أماكن محكوم عليها بالاختفاء ويصفها أوجي (1992) أماكن العزلة. الهدف الرئيسي من هذه المقالة هو إثبات أن الفضاء العام، بالطبع، لم يعد الوسيلة الوحيدة للاتصال بين أفراد المجتمع لكنه يظل مهما لأنه يحمل معاني متعددة؛ ويسهل استعادة حرية التعبير والمواطنة. مما يجعلنا نفترض أن الفضاء العام الحضري أصبح يتخذ أشكالا جديدة بدلا من الاختفاء. على سبيل المثال، سوف ندرس الحراك ألشعبي مدينة قسنطينة وتأثيره على استعادة الفضاء العام وهذا من وجهة نظر فضائية واجتماعية. ولهاذ الغرض نقوم بإجراء مسح لسكان حي 20 أوت 1955 في مدينة قسنطينة. تم تنظيم هذه المقالة في ثلاثة أجزاء؛ من ناحية، نعرف الفضاء العام، ومن ناحية أخرى، نحلل الحراك الشعبي في الجزائر، وأخيرا نعرض نتائج الدراسة التحليلية للحراك الشعبي، مما سمح لنا بالتأكد على أن الفضاء العام الحضري أصبح له معنى، بالإضافة للدور الفعال الذي لعبه في استعادة وتجديد هذه الفضاءات الخارجية التي حكم عليها بعض الباحثين بالاختفاء.

Some authors qualify contemporary urban public spaces as non-places, places of solitude (Augé 1992). The main objective of this article is to demonstrate that, of course, public space is no longer the only medium for communication, but it remains important because it carries multiple meanings; it facilitates the recovery of free expression and citizenship. We hypothesize that urban public space is taking new forms, rather than disappearing. As an example, we study from a spatial and social point of view, the re-conquest of public space by the popular Hirak in Constantine. For this purpose, we are carrying out à survey of the inhabitants of the City of August 20, 1955 in Constantine. This article is organized into three parts; on the one hand, we define the public space, on the other hand, we analyze the popular Hirak in Algeria, and finally, we state the results of the analysis of the popular Hirak, which allowed us to assert that public space is regenerating instead of disappearing.

Certains auteurs qualifient les espaces publics urbains contemporains de lieu de solitude (Augé 1992). Le présent article a pour objectif principal de démontrer que, certes l'espace public n'est plus le seul support à la communication, mais il reste important, car, il facilite la récupération de l’expression libre et de la citoyenneté. Nous faisons l’hypothèse que l’espace public urbain est en train de prendre de nouvelles formes, plutôt que de disparaitre. En guise d’exemple, nous étudions d’un point de vue spatial et social, la reconquête de l’espace public par le Hirak populaire, dans la ville de Constantine. Nous réalisons à cet effet une enquête auprès des habitants de la Cité du 20 Aout 1955 à Constantine. Cet article s’articule en trois parties ; d’une part, nous définissons l’espace public urbain, d’autre part, nous .procédons à l’analyse spatiale et sociale du Hirak populaire à Constantine. Enfin, nous énonçons les résultats de l’analyse relatifs à la re-conquète de l’espace urbain par le Hirak populaire, ainsi que l’enquête par questionnaire. Nous concluons enfin en affirmant que l’espace public urbain en Algérie est en train de se régénérer au lieu de disparaitre
