المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تحديد المشكلات التي تواجه أسر ذوي الشلل الدماغي والتعرف على أهم مصادر الدعم والمساندة من وجهة نظرهم. واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي لملاءمته أغراض الدراسة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (17 أسرة) لأطفال من ذوي الشلل الدماغي تراوحت أعمارهم بين (7 - 20) عاماً، بمتوسط عمري (13.4 عاماً). ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام مقياس مشكلات أسر ذوي الشلل الدماغي (وفاء محمد، 2016)، استمارة بيانات الحالة، ومقياس مصادر دعم أسر ذوي الشلل الدماغي من وجهة نظر الأسر (من إعداد الباحثة). وقد أسفرت نتائج الدراسة عن أن أبعاد مشكلات ذوي الشلل الدماغي وأسرهم جاءت جميعها على مستوى متوسط، وقد جاء في الترتيب الأول المشكلات الاقتصادية، تليها المشكلات النفسية، وأخيراً المشكلات الاجتماعية. كما أسفرت النتائج عن أن جميع مصادر الدعم ذات مستوى مرتفع من الأهمية من وجهة نظر عينة الدراسة، فقد جاء بُعد توفر الخدمات لذوي الشلل الدماغي في المرتبة الأولى، ثم بُعد الدعم المالي، ثم الدعم المعرفي، ثم الدعم المجتمعي، وأخيراً الدعم الاجتماعي. كما دلت نتائج الدراسة على أنه لا يوجد أثر لمتغيرات نوع أو عمر الطفل المصاب أو مستوى دخل الأسرة على مشكلات ذوي الشلل الدماغي وأسرهم.

The current study aimed to shed light on the problems facing families of people with cerebral palsy and to identify the most important sources of support from their point of view. The study used the descriptive approach to suit the purposes of the study, and the study sample consisted of (17 families) of children with cerebral palsy, whose ages ranged between (7-20) years, with an average age of (13.4 years). To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the Scale of Problems of Families of Children with Cerebral Palsy (Wafaa Mohammad, 2016), the Case Data Form, and the Scale of Support Sources for Fam-ilies with Cerebral Palsy (prepared by the researcher). The results of the study revealed that the dimensions of the problems of the families of individuals with cerebral palsy were all at a medium level, and the economic problems came in the first place, followed by the psycho-logical problems, and finally the social problems. The results also revealed that all sources of support have a high level of importance from the point of view of the study sample. The dimension of availability of services for people with cerebral palsy ranked first, then the dimension of financial support, then cognitive support, then community support, and finally social support. The results of the study also showed that there is no effect of the variables of the gender or age of the affected child or the level of family income on the problems of people with cerebral palsy and their families.
