الحمد لله الذي علم الإنسان مالم يعلم. القائل في كتابه العزيز: {وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ} (العنكبوت: 69)، والقائل أيضاً: {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا إِنْ تَتَّقُوا اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ فُرْقَانًا} (الأنفال: 29). والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله القائل: {الإحسان أن تعبد الله كأنك تراه فإن لم تكن تراه فإنه يراك}. وبعد: إن علم التصوف كما يراه كثير من الباحثين يمثل الحياة الروحية في الإسلام، ويجسد حقيقة التدين الصحيح الذى يحرك الإنسان في دائرة الفعل المسئول، فلا حقد، ولا عداء، ولا حسد، ولا بغضاء، ولا تطاول على حقوق المخلوقين، وهو الجسر الذى يعين الإنسان على التعايش مع أخيه الإنسان، ولذلك وضع له أصحابه قواعده وقوانينه ومنهجه وموضوعاته ببداية الإسلام استنتاجا من القرآن الكريم وسنة النبي الكريم صلى الله عليه وسلم واستخلاصاً من حياة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم وحياة أصحابه من بعده حيث يرى هؤلاء الصوفية أن الإسلام هو الذى أرسى قواعد هذا العلم، فعلم التصوف ليس غريباً عن الإسلام، وإنما هو من صميم الإسلام وأحد علومه الأصلية. وعندما نتكلم عن الحياة الروحية في الإسلام فالذي يقصد بهذا العنوان هو إعطاء صورة وافية عن الحياة الروحية لرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم، وكذلك الحياة الروحية لأصحابه من بعده رضى الله عنهم أجمعين حيث كانوا مثلا ً أعلى وقدوة في زهدهم وتقشفهم وعبادتهم، كما رسموا منهج الحياة للمسلم في دينه ودنيا، وربطوا بين الحياة الدنيوية والحياة الآخروية بنظام استقوه من وحي الله قرآناً وسنة وأحاديث قدسية.
Praise be to God, who taught humanity what they did not know. He mentions in His Holy Book: "And those who strive hard for Us - We will certainly guide them to Our ways, and indeed, Allah is with the doers of good." (Al-Ankabut: 69) He also says: "O you who have believed, if you fear Allah, He will reward you with Furqan a criterion" (Al-Anfal: 29). Prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of God, who said: "Ihsan is to worship God as if you see Him, and if you do not see Him, then He sees you." The science of Sufism, as many researchers see it, represents the spiritual life in Islam and embodies the truth of true religiosity that guides individuals towards responsible actions, devoid of hatred, hostility, envy, or infringement on the rights of others. It serves as a bridge fostering coexistence among individuals, and its adherents laid down its rules, laws, methods, and topics at the inception of Islam. They derived these principles from the Noble Qur'an, the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and the lives of the Prophet and his companions. These Sufis maintain that Islam is the foundation of this science. Sufism is not separate from Islam but rather an integral part of it, representing one of its original sciences. When we discuss the spiritual life in Islam, the intention is to provide a holistic understanding of the spiritual journey of the Messenger PBUH as well as that of his companions who followed him, may God be pleased with them all. They set a lofty example and served as role models through their asceticism, austerity, and devotion to worship. Moreover, they outlined the Muslim's path in both religious and worldly matters, establishing a system that harmonized life in this world and the Hereafter based on guidance from God's revelation in the Qur'an, Sunnah, and sacred Hadiths.
